He doesn’t shit the bed when under pressure. That makes him better than a lot of our defenders already

Hope Logan stays in the team and keeps Burton out. Maybe then Burton will finally give a damn and defend.Already a better player than Ryan Burton.
Daylight between them in effort and defensive ability
Great stuff
(Shit haircut but)
Yeah, that sort of thing show he has an instinct for the game, something you cant really teach. He looks like a player that will just keep getting get better too.Confident fellow, solid start with a couple of errors, but keeps coming and taking game on. That underground handball on the last line, late in game was pretty ballsy.
Esava and Rat? Do you mean he has been playing two roles, this could be our issue…Thought he had such a good game against the Dogs. So composed with the ball, excellent decision making and seems to be a decent kick.
Really really impressed by him, and think he's a lock in our best defence now. Having him and Bergman back there instead of Esava and Rat gives us far more stability when the ball hits the deck and overall we looked so much better.
This totally explains Esava's confusion with the game.Esava and Rat? Do you mean he has been playing two roles, this could be our issue…
Or do you mean Burton?![]()

Agreed. His instincts and reading of the play sets him apart from others with similar experience. Already contributing to our improved attacking game from halfbackYeah, that sort of thing show he has an instinct for the game, something you cant really teach. Can't be bothered looking it up for a nothing award, but I'd guess no given most MSD picks tend to be older players and therefore wouldn't be eligibleHas a mid-season pick ever got a Rising Star nomination?
Jai Newcombe has, although it was the year after he was drafted.Has a mid-season pick ever got a Rising Star nomination?
I actually think hes been pretty good given how attacking, reactive and ambitious his kicking has been. Hopefully will only get better with experience.Gets to the right positions and seems to back himself. Just need to work on his disposal by foot
