Lots of positive signs, much higher work rate and aggression being shown by all players in this 2nd game. Ellis-Yolman looks a likely sort. Wright has been a class above his team-mates in both games, so well balanced and clean in possession. Tambling playing like a man in the last year of his contract, showing much more intent than I've seen from him before. Jenkins a big presence, great goal from the boundary followed by a very Tippett-like miss from straight in front.

Some negatives. Injury to Brodie Smith although Sando's just said its a collarbone which is much better news than a shoulder. He should be back in time for the start of the season or shortly after. Umpiring has been absolutely terrible all day. I don't know whether it's these new rules, but they seem to be blowing every 5 seconds.
