Only downside is Brisbane/Fitzroy fans will turn up at the G next weekend.

The prelim 2 years ago had a crowd of 77,677

I think it’ll be a good crowd next Saturday but more so because it’s the only match in Melbourne across weeks 2 & 3 of the finals - so could well see a few more mutuals in terms of MCC & AFL members could well be more interested in attending than they otherwise would if there was more of a choice of matches

Daisy Thomas looks like a bad character design from some early 2010s video game or something. He's realistic looking enough for me to suspend my disbelief and just go with the idea that he's a human most of the time, but on HD TV it becomes harder. He'd fit right in to the Skyrim universe. Hopefully Bethesda update his graphics when the new Elder Scrolls game comes out in a few years.

I'm down with them destroying Brisbane but don't want to see them turn up thinking they've already won.

Time to be clinical......and destructive.
Absolutely! Clinical, take no prisoners, relentless + as you said, destructive! Just as they were defeating Port.

Players have found cohesion!

Let’s do it!

Plot twist:

it says "Good luck against Port, think you are a really great player and have a lot of respect for what you have been able to do this year".

Did he say see you in 14 days? lol
Pity he didnt tell him he cooked me thousands I lost on his Brownlow chance @ $101.

Very happy we are not playing GWS, there system would have worried us, albeit probably wouldn't of stuck for 4 quarters

I don't believe in omens, and I certainly don't believe that Geelong players get ahead of themselves.

The team most likely to beat us just choked and knocked themselves out of the finals and, for that, I am very grateful.

There is no need for me to look for reasons to feel nervous or that anything that happened to night reduces our chances of winning next week.

They're celebrating like they just won the flag. Like to see that. It's when the celebration is understated suggesting the job is still to be done that you'd be more concerned.

It reminded me of their reaction on the final siren 2 years ago when they had the unexpected win over Melbourne at the MCG

Not saying that teams & players shouldn’t enjoy the win, but as you said - it’s understanding the difference between celebrating like it’s the biggest win of your career and knowing that that win is still to come

Because they let slip a 44 point lead we are fortunate not to play them? Oh dear …. They bottled it yet again!
See what you mean. It's a bit funny to think that the winner is less of a challenge than the loser.

But, how much does it take out of Brisbane having to make that comeback? And how much will the travel, from Brisbane, to Sydney, to Melbourne, take out of them?

2 years ago was also a Friday night
Saturday twilight should see even more Cats fans there

GWS generally escape the spotlight because of the fact no-one cares. But to lose that game and go out in straight sets in the way they did... That's pretty humiliating.
Once their pressure game dropped off they couldn't find any answers to stem the flow.
2 weeks straight, losing pretty unlosable games.
Nobody still cares, but it was annoying to watch an AFL final played in front of a crowd smaller than I've seen at preseason games.

That was embarrassing. No other elite sporting competition serves up that sort of 'showpiece', as demonstrated by the NRL qualifying final in Melbourne earlier in the day.

That team's existence is an insult.
