I mean we were due for a bad trade period after an amazing one last year but still. Just don't think Caddy needed to go.

Wells can go now, completely screwed up this trade period.... wouldn't swap caddy for Deledio (supposedly for salary reasons.... he's on 1.5m for 3 years at GWS) but instead swap caddy for pick 24 and Aaron blacks bloated salary... swaps tuohy for a future first (which we now have pressure to get next year, thanks for that) and smedts and get back future second....

We have gone backwards, definitely not forwards and danger must be wondering where the improvement comes from to push for a grand final.....

Clearly the trade period didn't go to plan, but calls for Wells to be sacked are completely ludicrous.

This trade period was a whole club effort, including the senior coach, Stephen Hocking, Cook and Wells.

There has been a culture of quick fixes and I think this week is the result of that culture, not just bad deal making by Wells.

Wells principle job is the draft, and as recently as last year he found Sam Menegola with a late pick. He needs a strong draft, but his job is not in doubt.

How did we persue Deledio and then realise we didn't have enough cash but then dropped $400k on Aaron Black if reports are correct? That to me sounds screwed up.

Not good news is the Gibbs deal didn't get done considering he is one of their best players and we want them to finish near the bottom last year for their 2nd round pick. Geez Carlton are pricks to deal with.

What I cannot understand is this is such an obvious terrible decision. HOW, just how can our recruitment staff not see this????

This has been a huge turning point from many fans.

A line in the sand since our 04 - 2011 period of being the best off field operators to a goddam laughing stock. We are now not what we were, we are inept, hoepless off field.
