Caddy was contracted and we traded him for undervalue.

What I cannot understand is this is such an obvious terrible decision. HOW, just how can our recruitment staff not see this????

This has been a huge turning point from many fans.

A line in the sand since our 04 - 2011 period of being the best off field operators to a goddam laughing stock. We are now not what we were, we are inept, hoepless off field.

Time to go Wells

Calm down.

Wells:
"We are disappointed to part ways with Josh. I think the Tigers convinced Josh that he was going to get plenty of midfield time. We thought he would with us too. Richmond made it very clear to us that they weren't willing to do a trade with us for Deledio, with what we offered."

Couldn't even give a good reason for trading him, "ohhh ahh Josh requested a trade, Richmond might have convinced him there's more opportunity for him there, I think there was opportunity for him here as well but ahh"
Why can't we play hard ball like other clubs, let it drag out and force them to give up more? Instead we take an average pick AND give them an upgrade at the back of the draft. Bloody hell

So why didn't we make it very clear that we weren't willing to trade Caddy for what Richmond offered?

The trades themselves are fine, but the value we're getting from them seems a little short.

I'd like to know how we are expected to improve on last season when we have a weakened squad?
Only chance is for the development of the younger guys to all of a sudden be fruitful again but not holding my breath on that one.

So Richmond made it clear they wouldn't deal Deledio based on what we offered.

Pity we didn't do the same when it came to Caddy.

Bloody circus. Wells has completely ballsed this trade period up.

Details of O'Meara deal
Hawks got O'Meara deal for pick 10 and swapped 48, 66 and 70 for Blues' 2nd round in 2017. No Hawks player involved

Can't be the Blues 2nd Rounder, that's ours. I reckon it must be GWS' traded to Carlton as part of marchbank?

Isn't the Blues second round pick ours? Did we just swap that for those 3 shit picks?
PICK SWAP BETWEEN HAWKS AND BLUES
Blues get: 2017 future rd 2
Hawks get: Picks 48, 66 and 70
