I’m a bit bummed for finlayson, was in such good form earlier in the year, but his form lately probably warranted this but a part of me wanted to back him in against his old side.

Is their a chance he’ll be the sub?

He has to be the sub because if the corpse of Lycett brakes down then the corpse of Dixon has to ruck and if he goes down then I guess its Lord leading the rucks with Mac & Cheese at full forward.

I’m all for dropping Finlayson, his effort has been pretty atrocious the last few weeks and doesn’t look able to turn it around.

Altogether pretty happy with this team going in. Can’t escape the fact that we’re carrying injured players but our options are unfortunately pretty limited.

Not super optimistic on this one but I also think GWS are somewhat over-hyped at the moment. I’m definitely worried we’re going to shit the bed but let’s see.

Will be interesting to see if one member of the media has even the slightest bit of integrity if we lose and ask some hard questions of the coach. Doubtful. They won't get another chance because rest assured every member of the coaching staff and executive of the club will be gone in to hiding by Sunday.

Haven’t seen Fantasia at SANFL level but I’m a touch disappointed he wasn’t picked. Maybe there’s a view the game has gone past him.

Interesting first half and the last half.

1st 11games - 1 goals, 9.3 disp per game, 3 tackles

2nd 10 games - 0.3 goals, 9.2 disp per game, 2.4 tackles

So he's kept his consistent lack of impact, but a huge drop off in his scoreboard involvement and would be interesting to see the pressure acts stat, because clearly his tackles are dropping off.

There is no way GWS are over-hyped, along with Carlton they have been the form team in the AFL, their midfield is elite, they have a lot of good small forwards including one of the best players in the AFL and their defence is led by Sam Taylor who is one of the best defenders in the AFL (Nick Haynes would walk in to most sides and he is their sub)

The fact that he wasn't dropped after the Geelong game is a total joke. Coming off four losses in a row, and we have a bloke in the forward line who has got single digit disposals and no goals three weeks on the trot.

Luckily for him Hinkley managed to stare hard enough for long enough at his magnet at the selection table that week, and so somehow McEntee is still with us in week 2 of finals firing blanks every week.
