Just had a look at the ESPN footy tipping site - 22 people (out of 810,677) picked the 9 winners and nearly 200 picked 8/9. Most of these people are still way behind the leading tipsters though, so it must've been the old infinite number of monkeys doing their tips.
Friday Night: Driving home from work, 15 minutes not long before the start of the game... Shit I haven't done my tips... I'll just do the Friday night game on my phone while waiting at the lights. Do the rest when I get home later. Sydney vs Carlton in Sydney? Swans yeah. (+1)

Get home, forget to do the rest of tips.

Saturday Night: Oh shit I forgot to do the rest of my tips, have away sides (Hawthorn, Freo, Giants, Bulldogs, Essendon). **** yeah 5/6. Better look at the Sunday games, Port and Collingwood are playing well. So pick those two. (7/8)

Adelaide are really good at home, and Brisbane suck when travelling. (8/9)

Comparing us and Carlton Hinkley is god.

3 prelims, 5 final series.

Carlton would take that in a heart beat

Carlton have Hinkley 2.0 now.

Reading Blues fans tearing their hair out over not converting copious inside50’s into goals. Making the opposition’s intercept marker look like a god. Refusing to pick a younger player tearing it up in the ressies in favour of his favourite plodders.

It’s like looking into a mirror, only not.

Except he’ll probably be gone before the year is out.

I didn't have such luck with my EPL tips, which I forgot to enter, maybe because the games weren't played until last night. They only give a point for away wins if you didn't enter any tips and the Spurs win at Leeds was the only one.

They’ve got North and WC x 2 so lock in three more wins.

Double up games with GC will be telling for them.

Coll (away), Bris (away), Melb (away) likely all losses.

Then it’s down to games with ESS, GWS, Syd and Port.

They’re right on the bubble with a host of teams fighting for a spot at 12-13 wins.
Their season literally hangs on Dawson repeatly pulling god tier performances in the midfield and no drop off at all in Lairds output can’t see it lasting

West Coast have had list management issues for 3 seasons now, but no coach / team is going to win too many games with this sort of injury list experience is missing. Simpson can't do much except try to find who can at least compete at AFL level.

Fox:
ADELAIDE CROWS: Scary at home.
BRISBANE LIONS: MUST convert better.
CARLTON: Hope nearly lost.
COLLINGWOOD: Cruising at top.
ESSENDON: Sneaking up ladder...
FREMANTLE: Season truly alive.
GEELONG: Top four distant.
GOLD COAST SUNS: Darwin winning streak!
GWS GIANTS: Toby their GOAT.
HAWTHORN: Sicily clearly All-Aus?
MELBOURNE: Off premiership pace.
NORTH MELBOURNE: Fought hard again.
PORT ADELAIDE: Eight in row.
RICHMOND: Just about done.
ST KILDA: Season suddenly slipping.
SYDNEY SWANS: Just outside eight...
WEST COAST EAGLES: Stars back = better.
WESTERN BULLDOGS: Forward entries poor.

Injury prone older players kept for two seasons too long.

You can say that about any time lol.
Why waste so much energy thinking about the crom

They're getting better, but still can't perform away from home for s**t
Listening to Rowey, he said the Crows request to the AFL is to play the big teams at home.
Wonder if that helps them.
We request a home Anzac day, don’t know what else.

Listening to Rowey, my mind starts to melt.
Listening to Rowey, I'm falling I need help.
Listening to Rowey, the opposite of good.
Listening to Rowey, like a Sad Supporter Should.

Must have played most of his milestone games against us. Brent Harvey had a special talent for knocking Port over.

They would've strapped him in for the first game against JHF, but he'd busted his leg playing his 1000th game in some bush league. Not sure of the result of that game - no doubt his team won anyway.

So, the Brazilian equivalent to Victoria is the Rio-Sao Paulo Axis.

I’ve just found out that a journo said that if Juan Vojvoda, a successful Argentine coach in Brazil, didn’t accept moving onto a big club from the Axis, it was evidence of cowardice.

I’m translating it literally.

Vojvoda coaches Fortaleza since 2021. His work has been absolutely fenomenal.

Fortaleza is 1,500mi (2,500km) from Rio. These journos cannot accept the fact that Fortaleza is now competing against the best in equal footing.

It’s nauseating!

Isn’t it exactly like the Victorian media?

Crows aren't shit. Their engine room is blue-collar but they've been playing with exquisite structure.

I liked GC's performance against the Dogs but gaping holes in their zone were exposed regularly for scores, and the crows forward line is far more potent than the Dogs.

Reckon it will be an 8 goal win to the crows to lock their top 8 spot in.

If Brisbane and wb HADN'T BE COMPLETELY INEPT IN FRONT OF GOAL WE WOULDN'T EVEN BE HAVING THIS DISCUSSION AS THE GAMES WOULD HAVE BEEN BLOW OUTS EARLY ON.

On McEntees improvement ..

Does he have it in him to be Mahoney from our 2004 list?

Reckon he’s worked so flipping hard and wants it so flipping bad in a similar way Mahoney did. Wasn’t ultra blessed but solid as a rock team contributor.
