Victorians during the one week of the season they don't have 4-5 games:

You can actually feel the sense of entitlement through the post, they should be the last state to get it

They could have it as compensation for the Grand Final being played 'interstate'.

Agree with most of what you've said, but please leave the 'tiny little dicks' insult out of it. Not all of us with tiny little dicks are racist and don't deserve to be lumped in with those sorts of characters just because of something we were born with and had no say in. It's incredibly hurtful. Almost on par with the behaviour you are condemning.

Poor big Victorian club… you have to play at an unfavourable time, at an unfavourable ground without national coverage…. Welcome to what the non-Victorian teams face on an almost weekly bases.

and this rubbish after the Victorian media said that the showdown should be played at the MCG to get national coverage. What sycophantic insecurities….

a part of me actually wants the VFL to move the games…. Just to further prove how bias the administration is.
What a joke.
They have buyers remorse all the sudden?
Now they know how the rest of us feel about the GF at the MCG every single year

Guarantee if Gather Round was in Melbourne and Port was top of the ladder up against someone like Brisbane, no one would be asking them to reschedule it to Adelaide Oval or the Gabba. This is exactly what Gather Round should be about, bringing these games other states don't usually get to see to different places. Collingwood and St Kilda play each other in Melbourne every year for 100 years, the sky is not going to fall if they miss out on going one time. Watch it from home like most of us have to do for nearly every grand final in history for example you bastards.

So, it's completely fine to shirt-front an umpire to the ground if you:
A) Pretend not to see him
B) Play for Geelong
C) Are leading the Coleman

Are you seriously suggesting he should be fined for that? It was an accident and he definitely didn’t see him until it was too late.

unreasonable and unnecessary contact with an umpire is a fine.

accident yes…. But if you want to be consistent…..

Just as much the umpires fault, if not more.

What soligo did was unreasonable and unnecessary, I think pure accidents like this don’t need to be looked at.

Can I just run something past you learned folk.

Mum and I are just GA season ticket holders and I normally just get the barcodes on the way up and all good.

I just checked because of this circus with Gather Round and see that I was allocated two vouchers which are now about as useful as **** on a bull.

So if I’m correct they have sold me a season ticket and then sold my ticket again to some other campaigner and I miss out?

I hope im wrong in my summation..

Cheers

It's techically not a home game. None of us get to sit in our usual seats. It's like when we play an away game against the crows and some camry campaigner is sitting in our seat

Yes. Serious contact with an umpire, accidental or otherwise, has been historically been punished by the AFL; if it were a Port player, they would be fired into the sun.

What the * would be the point of a gather round in Melbourne lmao. They have most teams in Australia in town on any given week.
They'd just organise the non-vic teams to play each other on Sunday afternoon in Sale while the VFL can proceed uninterrupted in the centre of world sport
