The Duggan bump on Fyfe was in the FIRST half noobs. We were going to the left hand side of the screen so 2nd quarter.

And it was as the ball was kicked in their direction, so technically it was a marking contest but they didn't body up ... ya feel?

They were both chasing a shit kick from a fremantle player and Duggo bumped Fyfe off it early and collected the loose ball with his sunglasses on

Honestly though they are both side by side, how could Fyfe be so clueless that he was going to cop some body contact?

Bender stole that gif from me actually. Refer to AFLCA thread.

Freo were worse than the last time we pushed them aside..

Most of their young players are WAFL grade. If you can't kick you can't play. The reason they have to play them is because their old players are putrid
Ross Lyin would play Petrie and Mitchell in a heart beat
I would have thought that WCE's young players in Duggan, Nelson, Sheed and Barrass were, as a collective, far more impressive than the best four supposed "young guns" that played for the lavenders on Sunday.

Will never tire of watching this, Fyfe eating shit with Duggo exerting his influence, loving the confidence he's found over the last month.

Yep yep yep. Not really "young guns" are they.
Time moves on quickly as Mundy is already 31.
Were these the same blokes bombing into the hands of McGovern, Hurn and Duggan from West Coast.

+ The Hobbit falling on his arse from his own tough guy stupidity .. AGAIN!

this was the Suban thing.. with Schofield & the Hobbit ... LOLz . Poor Suban was pissed at getting whacked with a block on the kick in..

Well having seen off the scumbag from down the road i still think we were very ordinary. Our defence was great and speaking of; Mcgovern has spawned a new sport; its called "grab hold of Mcgovern before the high ball arrives and dont let go", but we didnt look great going forward and our mids struggled. To be honest most times going forward they looked more likely to score than we did. They just couldnt kick for shit and B. Hill in spite of cutting us to ribbons had a kicking day that will haunt him the rest of his days.A future defence of Mcgovern,Barass,Nelson,Duggan,Coleand Sheppherd looks great but some of them will need to beef up the midfield.

Agreed. They were woeful. But we did put together 5-6 excellent pieces of team play coming from the back line and finding deliberate targets inside 50. For those alone we deserved to win.

Schofield is a champ. The purple ferals were going off when he dropped Susan. Good times.

Just a shame you cut the vid as Nelson and Ballas were about to start playing.

Just on Lord Nelson, when that campaigner Mundy sent Gaff flying into the fence he was the first one to run over and get stuck into the muppet, kid loves the biff.

It was a very strange game. I didn't think any of our players were terrible (although there were some terrible moments) and we got the win, so that is good. There were some good passages of play where we looked great and some absolute garbage overuse of the ball. Positives were obviously our defence with Duggan, Hurn, Shep and McGovern in particular and to a lesser extent up forward Darling looked good attacking the ball. Redden was also a positive.

The negatives are probably more in having guys in the side that are no longer taking us forward and we would be better finding replacements sooner rather than later, even if their games weren't terrible. Masten had good and bad moments and is ok depth but isn't offering enough. The game has passed Priddis by (but he wasn't terrible and did some good and bad things). LeCras played ok and again, is decent depth but we really need younger players coming through/given a chance to take his spot. I guess the biggest negative is that even with the win, we really don't look like a well balanced side and have the appearance of a side making one last scramble for a GF but seemingly without the ability to reach it.

All of that said, I think we have been playing so long with various players in the team below their best that any delistings/retirements probably won't have a huge effect on our competitiveness as the young guys that replace them may offer as much or more.
