Autopsy Positives and Negatives vs GC

Mainly positives for now, need to have a think as to how best to express the variety of negatives we learned/had confirmed today.

+ Jetta, earned his spot for a month. Sparked us out of the back 50, seems to be where he set up a bit. Interesting decision, but damaging
+ Sheed. Beast, say no more.
+ Yeo, first half particularly
+ Petrie's fourth quarter was great. Worth the price to acquire ten times over.

Early Negatives are JD and LeCras celebrating national donut day a day late, Priddis continuing to get a game. Will articulate some better thoughts later, off to play 2k.

Will say this though - you can't lament he club's ability to draft and develop kids while also embracing a full on tank. That just spells the start of a tragic, tragic cycle.

If you're going to melt, do it properly. This forum has given us so many delicious tears, it's time to give back.

+
sheed
yeo
Jetta
-
simmo and coaches
hunger
our confidence
skill
darling
hill
lecras
and everything else.

+ Sheed and Jetta were incredible
+ Shuey wasn't super influential, but still team (and game?) high clearance count.
+ Hard calls need to be made about LeCras and Darling after neither kicked, nor looked like kicking a goal.

- Played three tall defenders and still got beaten by an i50 mark in the last minute of the game.
- Hurn kicking sideways with 40 seconds to go
- Coaching

Postives
Sheed. Almost our best mid atm. Getting involved up forward too.
Yeo. Played well enough
Petrie. Really stood up in the second half

Negatives
Priddis. It's over
Lecras. 0 goals in a month. Time to step aside and develop someone else
Hutch and Duggan quiet again
Darling had no impact.

Didn't hurt that much as our season was already done the other week. Think its time now since top 4 is out of the question we trial some new blood. Also bring Lycett back

Positives:
Sheed. Yeo. Jetta.
Better draft pick finishing in the bottom eight.

Neg:
Ball use
Priddis
Darling
Priddis
Cripps
Priddis

I'm on the trade darling bandwagon now. He offers little for us. He is mentally shot. Probably be a good outcome for him and the club.

There is no positives, we genuinely are no good and looks years away from being able to compete at the pointy end of the year.

This is what makes me think the unthinkable.

We have wasted our opportunity to build a team around a once in a generation player in Naitanui. Trade him and start again.

Nah can't go the Melbourne route and get rid off all experience and talent for picks.

Stop pretending anyone is advocating tanking mate.

Playing more than 2 blokes under 25 is not tanking.

This isn't about you saying play Duggan. This is about the people who wanted to start a rebuild four weeks ago after a bad fourth quarter against the Dogs.

We're way too old. Playing the kids is fine. Don't pretend nobody is clamouring to blow it up.

Will do negatives when feeling more rational lol, but yeah Priddis.

The two forwards who were most talked about needing to step up in Kennedy's absence were barely seen on the ground today.

I fail to see how Priddis was Worst on Ground in so many people's minds. He was not good, but there was no shortage of culprits ahead of him.

Put a fork in Lecca and Priddis - they are well and truly cooked. Time to move on.

Hill absolutely kills me. Kicked two goals but he missed the shot to win us the game and then had a horrible passage of play on the far HFF when they broke 3 of his tackles and took the ball inside. He always goes missing when we need him.

We have not pace through the middle - teams literally stroll around when they make space as we have nobody willing or able to pressure them.
