I find it really comforting, as soon as I hear that it was only a pre-season game I immediately stop worrying that we've we've lost to this team the same way for the last 15 years.

I keep hearing the word ‘marking’ - is that when the player catches the ball and holds onto it? I think I’ve seen it before in some other team highlights packages

Before COVID? Maybe 2019?

I don't count the first game last year because Hawkins kicked 8 and the Cats sealed the win in a first half thrashing.

Even if the game is a win/competitive loss on Friday like most preseason games vs Geelong, we all know it'll be a belting in the real season.

2018.....

and Gelong isn't the only team that has a good streak on us either..............

Richmond had a winning streak on us from 2014 to 2023 and even then we only won by a buzzer beater.

I have a level of respect for Geelong, whilst Hawthorn and Carlton are two teams that could lose every game of every season for the rest of eternity and I'd never feel bad about it.
