I know it is hard to listen to Kelli Underwood, but some times you have to suffer
for your team.
At one stage she said that the Tigers would stick with us for a half, then fade. She was pretty close to the truth.
I thought we we playing well with the first half, but the third quarter , we started well , but I beleve we became too confident and maybe a bit cocky with ouir delivery into our forward line. That was all thatthe Tigers needed. We turned the ball over far too many times. But we settled in the last and blew them away.
She also mentioned that it was one a the few times we have won at the G. I had a look on the net and mayube the info was wrong, but it told me that we have played at the G 22 times for a ten win twelve loss record. If that is so, then we are doing ok. A 45% W L record. Is it just a percepton that we are duds at the ground?
Are these figures right?

There is no room for him in the back half

There isn't? Well then why do we want him? He's a great defender but only a decent midfielder forward by Richmond's current standard. He reminds me kind of like Kyle Langford Lite in the switch up but less impactful. Can you then imagine that with the extra required work to score here?

Rumour is Richmond are doing a massive cleanout under Yze. I know an actual forward mid there who unlike Baker, isn't in the leadership group and looks more checked out than him.

Sure he's contracted for awhile, but that's what all of our picks and JOM are for.

Earlier in the season it's a bit of cause and effect though. I mean no side has won the week after playing us, so on a ratio basis, it makes it a little harder to be in the eight.
Hahaha the doggies lost so the streak is alive!

Would be good if one of the rewatching crowd took a note of how many of his kicks hit the target. Swear it wasn’t many

There were quite a few that weren't the kick to miss the target. There were definitely some more riskier/attacking options that ended up more in a contest. One it two where the target lost their feet as well, ended up a loose ball and the Tigers pounced upon.

He mostly handballed it really. On balance I think the Brayshaw kicking critics might be overstating it a little.

You need to talk to @Snuffaluphagus as he removed him from the vote due to contract length.

I assume Richmond don’t want to give him up and Bolton does t want to leave, seems the sort to stay in VIC if he left anyway

I think non Freo fans over age 40+ keep conflating our record in Melbourne in general in the first 15 years or so with the 'G overall. We have won 22 of 57 at the G: probably half of those are in the last 10 or 12 years though. (Edit: 13 wins since 2012 inclusive leaving 9 wins in the first 17 years). Docklands we lost 22 of our first 29 games (up to 2010) and so on.

Other than the paintstripping quality of her voice, Kelli's main problem is she scripts a fair bit and doesn't do well at shoehorning it in. She was actually correct in saying it was a rare win for us at the G because it is rare for us to play there. We are only playing there twice this year.

In the ****ing home and away, my paesan.

In the home and away.

She also has no idea on pacing and says in twenty words what could be said in ten at times. The shoehorning happens far too many times each game and it means she says things that jar with the vision in front of you.

I think then she is trying to remember pre prepared remarks and blanks on the player name or team name so the call is stunted.

Anyway - we have started the decade of dominance so she will be talking about how great we are for the next decade anyway.

If Kelli Underwood is commentating, why not Sarah Jones? Very insightful, has a good voice.

Probably doesn't want to. I wonder if we will get Kath doing it eventually.

It was an oldfashioned dog act and deserved an oldfashioned response, which our boys gave. Tommy Emmett got up close and personal with Leon Baker or whatever his skanky little bogan name is. The flag was flown, fines were handed out. Move on.

(It's going to be tough for me, btw, if that little campaigner Baker is a trade target of ours because he absolutely reeks West Coast to me. Just a little shit bloke. I have always hated him and I will hate us if we sign the grubby little twerp up. His mullet is not ironic and in no way does he give off acceptable Fremantle vibes. Avoid.)

Only just seen this photo. This has to be weeks right?

Intentional. High. Severe. That’s 3+ isn’t it??

WTF

Judged careless, low impact and high.

I can accept careless but low impact!? The guy is on top of him with a knee on his neck. That’s never low impact.

There goes my left nut!

Huge difference between calling a game and making comment after the game is all over.
But maybe they could add the Dribbler and ceaseless voice over person Dermott Brereton. She would not get a word in with Dermie.
