Covid delayed it a little bit but this is exactly what I was hoping for but is exactly the type of footballer that I thought he'd become.

We just barely held on against the second last team, that just got beaten by North. I understand people were gagging for a win, but the cockahoot around here - told you so - is hard to take.

That game just revealed how desperate this club is - we should be sitting middle to bottom of the top 8.

Reckon Owies & Stocker are tracking nicely. Love their intent and effort.

And terrific game by Murph.

Probably the biggest positive so far this season is the emergence of some players.
Stocker and Owies are really starting to impress.
Cottrell's also been pretty good and we've found one in Parks.
And the biggest of all of course is McKay going from 'promising' to a gun leading the coleman.

Hopefully we can add a few more to this list by the end of the year like TDK, Setterfield and maybe Dow/LOB/SPS. And dare I say getting Charlie back on the park...

Owies feels like the reincarnation of Matty Wright. Hard to pinpoint an elite skill he has, except knowing to be at the right place / right time. Cemented his place in the forward pocket for the rest of the season IMO.

Regardless of ladder positions, that was a good win today. Kept turning up and got there. Imagine Charlie as part of that... Not long now. Bring on the Swannies.

If you're too simplistic to enjoy a win and simultaneously be critical of our issues, well, you need to wipe the drool off your bottom lip and allow others to voice their balanced opinions without being asked to support another team.

Sydney are probably the only team currently in the 8 who could actually drop out. They are two games and a lot of % ahead of us. It’s an 8 point game and if we don’t win it’s going to be close to impossible to catch them for Finals. Huge test and will really show where we are at.

Gold Coast departure was for mental health.

I thought it was a good game. Should have been further up at half time but we were under the pump. 4-6 hopefully we get some confidence and it’s a big game next week. Stocker was good. De Koenig has potential. Only second time we’ve beaten hawks in 16 years so let’s just stay slightly positive
