On that note, I genuinely did not notice Mitchell once today at the ground, and he's had a lazy 44

I did spend most of the 3rd quarter with my head in my hands admittedly.

I was definitely surprised by that too.

52 disposals between our 2 half back flanks is amazing.

Williams is better as a HBF with stints in the midfield than vice versa
GWS weren't stupid .. once he clicked into gear after half time he was more impactful than most mids are -- controlled rebound is modern footy - if your not winning the clearances you need plan b -- I think we lost the clearances by a margin today but those two and docherty really moved the ball back - Newman job shouldn't be under rated also

Maybe

i Expect a coach to recognise when people aren’t up to it, clearly Teague can’t

He's been working with who is available as far as I see. It's not like we've had a full list of fit and in form players to choose from.

Don’t know if you’ve noticed but he’s clearly been playing older players “safe bet”

Our third was good . Murpht into the last. And we tackled like **** and won with Harry nailing a beautiful goal .

They won't be there once there are players that show they can do what those older players can do, If it wasn't for the efforts of a couple of those older players today we may have lost. It's a matter of progression, like I said, patience is required. Would you rather a team full of young players being smashed every week and having their confidence destroyed?

NewDarkNavyBlues rather than trolling, add some content

Or does that only happen after a lose

Positives
- Williams and Saad linked up well in defence
- Docherty belongs on the wing
- Walsh is a superstar

Concerns
- No system with ball in hand
- Defence still subpar
- Gibbons isn't up to this level

I enjoyed beating that mob though.

To be fair he hasn't said anything that could be considered bannable, If people were going to be banned for posting nonsense there'd be precious few left posting on the site :tearsofjoy:

First time I have seen Walsh live and Christ on a stick he looked a level above every single player on the field today

That goal he kicked in the 2nd quarter I think was like Ronaldo smacking one in the corner of the net in a world cup final

You cant teach that kind of class....

Any chance of a straight swap with Daniel Howe?

Sat with a 40 year Hawthorn member today and he said the exact same thing about Walsh. We are blessed to have the kid.
