First of all que the debutant accounts, they will be out enforce today and early this week. It's rare we lose in this way, actually it isnt. Remember rnd 3 against the hawks last year or round 3 the year before against GWS ? What happened those years lol. Bottom line we are putting heavy work in training in regards to loads etc to be primed in the business end of the year, swans and sides like the swans are primed now.

In saying that, take nothing from the swans, we were out worked and out played and full credit to them for the win. Now the umpires did not win the game for the swans BUT I just cant ignore how incredibly one sided today was, it was pathetic and I hope the club asks a please explain, particularly how Reid was just allowed to knock the ball of Nank who has taken the mark. In our forward line it was play on, in our defense when he did it, Reid had a laugh, kicks the ball away and zero 50.

That was just one example, dont get me started on macca getting crunched and free given to the swans player.

Anyway, dust it off and get back on the horse
Agreed we derserved to lose but what the **** are with these maggots. Seriously an ammos ump can do better. They should be fined and suspended . It's obvious they are part of the take Richmond down hype.

I also worry about our defensive cohesion so far this season . Been leaking easy frustrating goals. Is it the new rules ? Who knows but we need to get it together down there. But that also could be due to our lack of pressure upfield. Need to lift big time , can't be 1% off next week

Missing Houli and Vlas hurts the system... Egg looked out of place...

Gives us 20 odd rounds too counter what sides will take out of sydneys game.
Instead of keeping your powder dry Sydney.
So Chris Scott like from 19.
Showed his hand early and guess what happen come finals time.
Thank you Horse.

Dimma said prior to round one that he was unsure how the game would go and if our game plan still stood up. This has happened every premiership years. Teams figure us out then Dimma and team tweak the plan to counter and we steam roll everyone from August onwards.

Don’t agree that this was a “bad loss”

played a young side up and about early in the year, who have shown how the new rules can be exploited to beat us. We still have 20 rounds to learn from this and adapt as we have in past seasons.

In each year we have unearthed young talent to carry us further, this will be the chance with a few like Pickett and Caddy at risk for not earning their spots

if we are going to win it again we will need overcome some adversity along the way to build the resilience

Four things here:
  • Two critically important defenders out, replaced with two who obviously aren’t up to it, especially under pressure from midfield.
  • Midfield weakened by Prestia without a suitable replacement.
  • Sydney brought the pressure big time without the Tigers being able to deflate their sails.
  • Most of the team are complacent and tend to panic once a loss is on the horizon.

and our other friends Ned_Flanders TJASTA Genghis Tron

A most unusual result

Badluck this week Tiges - you will bounce back.

Credit to your side today but I would ease up poking the bear. It is round 3. Round 3 last year we lost to the hawks, who were then talked up as finals locks. Round 3 before then, again we lose against the GWS who again became premiership favorites. We all know what happened those two years :p.

Not buying the rule changes and umpiring that's a cop out for me we we're simply outplayed by swans they were great. We lacked team efforts, smarts and looked lost.Carrying to many passengers last 3 weeks and today caught up to us today to many relying on the big guns pull us out off it.Reset work on our weaknesses the perfect game and wakeup that was.

Aarts has been poor for me not best 22 I don't see his value , Caddy in 3 games hasn't shown enough , Lynch needs to do more yeah got 3 junk time goals more presence. Egg was a puzzling selection to.

We seem to have one blowout game per year. In hindsight though, do you think we should have been more aggressive at the trade table?
Yes. Kinda strange that we only got Lynch in since we got Prestia, Nankervis and Caddy back in 2016

All this good depth we've been trying to push, now is the time.

RCD, Ross, Ralphsmith, Naish, Dow, MRJ.

Let's see what a couple of those can bring.

Port at Adelaide Oval is not the right time. The “depth” will get smashed - bad for their confidence.
