A lot of credit to Brad for setting some great ground work this season.

I had only thought we deserved to lose to Geelong and Brisbane this season, we've had chances to of won each game we lost. Well done to Brad and the staff!

Goes without saying Zerrett, his increase in defensive work is reminding me of Cotchins change

Hobbs and Caldwell also held up very well and were excellent. Nic Martins kicking is some of the best in the comp, Zerrett some of his competition.

Riewoldt and S.Ryan well held by Zerk and Baldwin. Ridley excellent as 3rd man

I think subbing Phillips was crucial.

Caldwell/hobbs really stepped up. Baldwin holding his own was so important to allow Ridley to play the role he is best at.

) who've been playing poorly over the past couple of weeks, menzie, durham etc, really played well tonight when it mattered most. i was impressed most by kaine baldwin, zerk-thatcher and ben hobbes. especially hobbes. his work ethic tonight was mostly bang on the money, it's great to see.

So stoked! Merrett a deserving winner. His tackle on Dusty will be iconic. Heppell was solid tonight. Thought Ridley and Redman were brilliant tonight. Probably Alwyn's best game tonight - much more involved for longer. Menzie was great tonight and Duz really stood up in the last. Deadset. He's a keeper. McGrath was great tonight as well, despite that turnover.

Concern about Draper's hip?

Menzie was good. Really competed and no dumb decisions.

We make it hard for ourselves but that was a great fight.
Stringer showing that he doesn't need it too often to make a difference.
Merett was massive. Hobbs was excellent and Caldwell was good in close.
Backline worked very well outside of some crappy turnovers.

The great thing is you can't rule us out of any game this season

Forgot about Hobbs and Caldwell. They were both awesome but I was especially pleased with Hobbs. He just keeps battling on.

Can someone tell me why Jack Riewoldt didn't play?

Usually see him sooking up to the umpires or kicking goals out the back when the Tigers are up by 3 or more goals but didn't see him there. Was he injured?
