I think the 'rule' only applies to afl matches. But it's a bullshit rule that clubs exploit every week.

Its never great when us idiot fans are getting it right more often than those at the club when it comes to selection.

Too many times there's been melts on here when certain players are picked only for them to absolutely spud it up and cost us games. There's also been multiple examples of where fans have been calling for certain players to get the call up and they've been ignored for weeks for blokes who have failed multiple times and then when they've finally been picked they have performed. That's a really worry when those outside of the club can see things better than those there consistently.
