does our club even enquire about the umpiring to the afl? these are all time levels of reaming we are getting right now

Was the umpiring that bad?

There was one where Biggie really should have got a free, there was also one where Vlastuin was clearly out of bounds and yet it was play on.

Wasn't too bad in general though I thought.

Don’t understand the George hate…

triple premiership player…gets picked almost all the time….

I see the pressure he brings…slots his 1-4 or occasionally 4-0

…not always clean…but does his job which Dimma asks…

…which is why he is a 3x premiership player
Don't understand? He had 1 handball in the first half and no other stats whatsoever.

Just another example in a succession of poor games.

Well, where I was there was a group of about 8 blokes that kept standing up and moving around every 2 seconds. Needed Xray glasses to see anything.
that explains it then

I think when it’s explained that George had one hand pass in the first half it should also be explained that it was ineffective.

Essentially, it would have been more productive for the team to play with 17 men.

I was actually really impressed by his commentary today. Gave great tactical insights compared to Gary Lyon who showed no interest in the game until Hawks made their mini comeback at the end.
My point was that figlam tried to lay claims in Shai…yeah we knew he was great…but we missed out …we sold the far, in that draft for trelol…. but but but….we missed out on Shai and JGTI as well

Dima’s in the acceptance stage of grieving about how dead we are with the AFL

He’s just laughing at anything to do with umpires and free kicks cos he knows doesn’t matter what he says they just gonna keep reaming us dry 🍆🤬

Unconvincing win against an undermanned team but glad to take the 4 points. It was a missed opportunity to pick up some valuable percentage. Had a familiar tone about it with an umpire-driven momentum surge. Every game where a team has had a run-on against us this year has seen a succession of questionable umpiring decisions, today was no different in the 2nd quarter. We got back into it on the back of some flukey goals, I wouldn't want to depend on those types of goals when playing against a top 4 team.

Love Lynch's form, Dusty's miracle goal and both of our ruckmen who were dominant. Defence was ordinary and leaked goals, Hawks had only 45 Inside 50s and still managed 14 goals which suggests our defensive structure is not working optimally. Nyuon is not ready and could have been a costly selection, not sure when Balta was injured but he was ordinary as well. Castagna's selfishness knows no bounds and for a horrible moment the West Coast game from last year flashed before me when he could have passed it off to a teammate but instead decided to attempt the goal of the year. Will venture down to Box Hill tomorrow to watch the VFL, will be watching the defence carefully.

The Lynch push in the back where he took the mark? Umps have been allowing that all year as long as player marks or has a realistic attempt at a mark. Hawks took it the length of the field and scored - 12 point play. The free against Jack in which Shai then gave away 50? No issue with the 50 but that wasn’t a poor tackle. The Balta too low free? The Hawks player jumped up which compounded it and made it look low otherwise it was going to be shoulder on shoulder contact. And the Lynch free for dissent when the ball was out of bounds saying he was being held. I didn’t even know Umps paid frees for dissent thought it was only 50’s.
Shocking day at the office, cost us at least another 5-6 goal margin due to momentum shifts.

I’m sure there’s plenty more that’s just off the top of my head
