Check our team v Sydney … outs: Broad, Short, Lynch, Nank, Graham, Gibcus, Tarrant, Soldo … might have been another one I’ve forgotten - we had 9 x players that night with less than 25-games…9!. Scott was whingeing about the Cats Friday night who had 5.
Dimma has something that Scott will never possess: class. He never makes excuses.

Wrong...C.S. is a class A whinger!
That never makes excuses except when asked and always in a round about way...that's why he's 'the smartest man in the room'...

Heard on radio that it was the first time since 2020 that Geelongs average age was less than the opposition.

They had a dream run with injury last year, won them a flag.

Scott now coming up with excuses is childish. Suck it up princess

To be fair I’ve never seen such a rigged draw. Saints and bombers draw totally designed to get them wins early.
We just needed to beat the dogs and now the loss to Sydney is starting to look bad
saints finished 10th.

bombres 15th . Don't they play bottom 6 play each other twice?
We finished 7th We haven't won games we should have.
Dogs 8th, Carlton 9th

Cats started slow and kicked into gear. Swans just playing poor.

This is shaping as a must win. Snag this and our season has a heart beat. If we get back in the 8 by the bye round there will be some teams above us worried.

Have to win this at all costs to make up for the dropped dogs and swans games.

no mention of the Suns calamity? :tearsofjoy:

I’ve got no idea on the gambling issue… but 100% he commentates (not just Tiger matches) like he has some ‘skin in the game’… I’ve noticed this for years.

And if you were listening to the call as I was during the game, it was glorious to hear Whately in a passage of play where Macca was probably caught HTB that wasn’t paid yell out during commentary “oh umpire just blow the whistle” …..

It brought a joyous tear to my eye.

Love this 😀

Hope Geelong's Mark O'Connor does not visit a "dive bar" after the loss. 😁

Watching the replay I notice we deliberately put the ball to ground when going inside. First time all year I’ve seen us try something different.

Yes very good that way.
Wonder if a rule change will come in?

seen glimpses of this before last week but defs a lot more players onboard with it now.

think it might have played a part in our elite passes to oppo- caught between hitting grass and a teammate logical conclusion hit up the enemy
