Not enough Mansell love here …played a great gane

Continues to improve

I like Nigel more and more
Starting to see that forward craft more and more but still bringing that uncompromising hard edge

That front and centre goal was fantastic

Should never be the sub again....has to play
he was good not great vs the Cats. He is a player, gotta wait a bit.

Bolton, Prestia & TT were going to someone out.

As Hopper returns Kmac2 or Sonz going to be squeezed out. Sonz is a mid too.

not sure how long Pestia is going to last, so he's got a spot there.

Bolton is fantastic and Baker is amazing, but Tom Brown’s now my favourite Richmond player to watch. His kicking is something else.

Not only that, but he has a good eye for reading the game. Makes great decisions with most of his disposals.

Some folk just struggle to understand role players mate. When we lose they see 10 touches on the stat sheet and decide to have a crack. Mansell has played his role to a reasonable standard pretty much every time he’s pulled the jumper on for this club. Maybe a little over zealous at times but I can cop that. North really missed the boat not taking him for free thru their academy. Exactly what they need is a bloke with a bit of mongrel. Would probably be in their leadership group by now.

Absolutely
It might sound hyperbolic but I cant say I’ve ever seen a better field kick at such a young age

It’s a shame the media and even Richmond’s own media team don’t highlight some of his kicking more when showing match highlights

We've done it before in 2015....
Wasn’t it 2014? Either way, that would be amazing. Especially in Yze’s first year.

But nah, I don’t think we’ll do it. We’re too far away, right? RIGHT????

Lmao, I need to stop this before I really set myself up for disappointment.

Every time he gets the ball I settle knowing he’ll make a great decision with it. I 100% agree, he’s very underrated by the media including our own. They can easily put together a highlights package with how good it is

In the same boat
He kicks to an outnumber or into the corridor with one tiger stuck in the middle of a zone of our opponents that 9 times out of 10 will easily be picked off but measures his kick in such a way our player gets the advantage

One of his best games, the pressure he applied was immense. Could have easily have slotted him into my top 5 players.

10 disposals, 8 tackles, 28 pressure acts, 2 goals

How sick was the goal from Seth

Just something about him

Agree 100%. From his very first game I thought ‘gee he’s a goer.’

He’s always reminded me of Geoff Raines. Just something about his build and the way he runs. If he turns out even half as good as Raines he’ll be fabulous. Just love him.

I was right off Short and to some extent Broad.
Both where back to form last night which is good to see.

Prestia surely retires if he has done his calf?
Ooze was saying is was just a knock, but yes he should retire at the end of season given all the injuries he gets.

Reminds me a little bit of Baker when he first started playing as well

Kinda unassuming and even stats wise post game underwhelming but when you are watching the games he just has that aura where you know he’s going to be a very good player

think the jvr despair can end now.

Who would've thought that someone with a beautiful kick would be good at footy lol... with the way the game is these days it's like we forget that having a great kick is actually needed and not being an athlete who can just run

It's great to see the kids getting games (probably had no choice but to play them due to big injury list) but they've been accelerated in their development.

There will be good times and disappointments along the way, that's what a rebuild is all about and we are in a rebuild and it will take time to be in the Premiership Window again, but we are on the right track and the effort - we can't fault that. They are all having a go and that's all we can ask for.

Good signs.
