And there it is…

Not sure why foxtel was banging on about Danger being superb. Playing deep only 20 disp, no goals, and Lambert, Sheds, Butler, Grigg, George, Dusty, Rioli, Caddy, Conca and Cotch had more involevents. Pisses me off the bias from the media he recieves. (Stll a brlliant footballer though)

Great work again by an underestimated defensive unit. I believe Geepong had 23 inside 50s in the 3rd quarter and were held to 3 goals. Considering how much time the ball was down there, that’s outstanding. Rance and Grimes will surely go down as defensive giants of this club, Vlaustin also was good. Of course conceding that many inside 50s has to be examined, our centre clearance work needs improvement, it just gives the opposition the chance to get a run-on. Some of the small forward work was also pretty good namely Rioli and Castagna.

A hard slogged win , although we pretty well controlled the second half. Great first game Garthwaite. Welcome back Rioli and Jack Graham. Prestia for Higgins is probably on the only change if Astbury isn’t ready. Too exhausted to type anymore so will take the easy option and read a few pages before I collapse for the day.

Great win against a good opponent who were up for the fight.

Our backline, in particular Vlastuin and the remarkable Dylan Grimes, were brilliant. You need to take a forward completely out of the game? Send Grimes to him and watch the player disappear. If he doesn't make AA this year the selectors should be pelted with rotten eggs and rancid tomatoes in the town square.

I thought Edwards, Lambert and Grigg were great too and made up the rest of my top 5.

Astbury and Prestia to come in for Garth and Higgins. Garth doesn't deserve to be dropped, as he was very impressive against a much bigger, more experienced quality opponent, but he's not going to keep Dave out.

McIntosh was poor again. Could Broad move up to his spot and Garth stay in?

Der-wayne is a *******.

Those two absolutely killed us.

Otherwise, well done on a tough win. As always, there were zero excuses. We played pretty well in patches, but got outworked by a more even combination and the pressure exposed our bottom and middle tiers.

Did he play? Thought he would be a handy inclusion for them next time

Its a shame he gets dropped for Astbury.
A least he gets a taste of it. I hope we dont lose him to another club who can garantee him game time.
Watch the press conference, it was mentioned that he was given a contract extension

Vlas was not just good. He should have had a cape on.

Danger was shit...gifted a few...and not penalised for 1 clear free...then faked the Dusty in the back ...
But Fox commentators look after their own...Dickfoeld works fox Fox

Don't get yourselves banned trolling the cats board please

Great win **** rioli was good today.

Believe that its also the first time richmond have ever beaten geelong with an ablett playing
Incorrect!! Round 20 1996. We won by 65 points at the G, Ablett Snr 5 possies, 2 goals. I thought he was playing in another win the next year but am mistaken.

You probably can’t even walk after eating that barbecue :)

I liked the part where Grigg standing still was able to get around Selwood and goal. Just about the slowest and oldest player we have and from a standstill he waltzed around him lmao
Was never going to kick it on his right but Derpwood fell for the right foot fake hook line and sinker. Hilarious
