Well, there's good signs there.

We were playing the most talented team in the comp at their home deck after losing to West COast by 50 points. We were a man down and had a lot of good players out.

Stack - Hold your head up high son, you showed the football world why all the other clubs were stupid not to choose you.

Backline held up well for mst of the match.

Macca, Edwards continuing to perform well.

Our pressure and intent is back and was far far better than it was last week.

However - skills, execution, conversion and dumb decision making is what lost us it.

Our depth really was poor and we really were a bit lucky with injuries, but the good news is we have some good kids coming through so not overly worried. We need to focus on talent and skillful players in future drafts.

Brandon Ellis - Sorry mate, lost all faith in you. Wouldn't be upset not to see him in the team again. Really had a lot of hope for this guy a few years ago but he just is just a hesitant panic merchant.

Castagna needs to be dropped

BUtler did a couple of last things and many very stupid things.

Dusty (though slightly better) and Cotch were poor.

Martin and Lynch shouldn’t have a case to answer in terms of weeks. But Dusty in particular will likely be fined. With quality footballers already out the last thing we need is other star players getting reported a la Grimes. Just dumb. Should be fined large money by the club. And then that can go to B Ellis as a severance package.

Roast brando, castagna and butters. All were below vfl standard. Biggest roast saved for prestia.. such a butcher with the ball man! Finds it no dramas but the dude is one of our highest paid players so he must do better.

Toast stack and balta. Those dudes had a crack.

In regards to the others, it's disappointing that the same players still have the same flaws and appear not to have learned a thing.

I think what I most liked about Stack was that he can actually defend, unlike Short (who is unlucky ). Stack the only shining light.

Michaels sorry my post in the game day thread about banning injury trolls in future was a dig at a couple of our own posters injury trolling other clubs last year.

I’m blaming them for our run of bad luck.

As to the game I wasn’t as upset as some of you other guys. I thought we improved a lot this week on last week. However we need to get finals out of our heads, it isn’t happening this year.

Love Sydney Stack, kid is a jet and I can’t believe we picked him up as a rookie! Looking like the steal of the 2018 draft.

Will our loss lessen his chances of the rising star nom this week? He deserves it.

I know we're struggling so no point having a melt but what I can't forgive is Dimma's stubbornness and refusal to tag players. I mean, Graham and Ellis are absolute workhorses with serious limitations with the ball yet we don't use them to tag opponents when they get 40+ touches?

Last week we see WCE tag Coniglio and another player (can't remember who) and they totally shut down GWS.... But we are above that? We'd rather let them rack em up and get slaughtered?
