We were well on top in the 2nd before the rain came down in the third which was good to see after so many wet weather games of late.
I50 +18, scoring shots +6 says we could of won by more.
I was worried late when we started panicking and gave up 2 goals, but they steadied well enough, it should give the boys belief.
Bolton struggled in the wet, just couldn't pick the ball up all day, Ross quiet.
Sheds was great, along with Dusty and Prestia, kept us in it early.

The start was a worry, but we hadn't played in the dry for a while so I'll give them a break.

Good fightback and win against a good team we will probably meet again soon.

Disagree about Bolton look at replay and u will see him with a number of gial assists

Statistics make Brandon Ellis' games look far better than his output. I don't think we can afford to have him in the side. I would be dropping him for Cotchin next week. Although I feel that they will drop either Ross or Baker instead.

I haven’t been in a crowd so into the game for weeks, was an absolute cracker to be there and watch.

Awful first quarter, but to our credit we refused to give in.

How good has Dusty been?

Toasts: Astbury, Grimes (had a heart attack when he went down), Vlastuin, Houli, Soldo and Prestia had great games.

Roasts:

Umpiring was terrible
Reckon Rioli needs a longer break in the twos to regain confidence.
Ross was poor, but first year player so inconsistency is expected.
Can Chol seriously work on his marking?

Great game.. The most nerve wracking I've been to in awhile... Just a couple of things... Had my heart in my mouth when Grimes went off.. Glad he seems okay....

All in all a very gritty tough effort after giving up 7 goals in the first.... We earned it
