Wouldn't mind another genuine centre-square midfielder, but Port might be interested in a player who can play multiple positions along the flanks.

Personally I'd really like an accumulator, it feels like we lack a player who just racks up 30+ week in week out with super consistency.

Zane Trew would be worth a shot.

One of the leading midfield candidates in this year's draft and a classy operator from the stoppages.

He showed his capacity to find the footy playing for Swan Districts' colts side last season when he gathered 40 disposals and laid 10 tackles against Perth early in the season before being struck by a shoulder injury.

Looms as one of Western Australia's better prospects who could rise up the charts with a strong run of form.

If you ignore no shoulders Rockliff sure, then we've got bad Heels Drew who I think is in the same mould.

Then Boak was 15th for average disposals and Wines was 25th for average disposals last season (rocky 18th)

Only club with more in the top 30 was Collingwood with 5 , no club had 4 with us and the crows only club with 3.

For pure balance (SANFL) a ruck/forward is needed. Heath looked to fit the bill.

Baldwin absolutely worth a punt.

Maher also worth a shot.

The issue for today, given we are taking Schofield and Goldsack, is whether we leave one spot unfilled.

That depends on whether we can free up a spot for the mid year draft by putting someone on the long term injury or inactive list. I read somewhere that this is what the Cows are doing with Gibbs.

If we can do this, fill all our spots. If not, leave one spot for the mid year draft.
Given Goldsack is not going to be playing AFL, wonder if we could put him on a long term injury list. I mean if he doesn't play AFL is the rule set up so that the player can't play SANFL either? Might be a loop hole. Doubt it'd be acceptable though.

We're almost certain to cop someone with a bad injury anyway, happens every year.

Baldwin and Walsh plz and taj.....

or if we have to Baldwin, taj and goldy

one project tall isnt enough! we dont have a tall list as is... tall tall go TALL

We do have a fairly tall list now

Pretty sure if you are on a long term injury list you can't play at any level

We'll see how Borlase goes, but at the moment i'm not losing any sleep over it. If he's any good, chase him and try and get him.

It's definitely more the rules than the actual player.

First up will be the pre-season draft, which will be a very short affair. Jackson Hately, who quit the Giants, will join Adelaide in that intake after a failed trade

Zane Trew sounds ok to me if there are no good talls left. Supposedly flopped at interview because he doesn't play along with the bullshit 'psych' questions. Whatever.

Seen as a bit of a sook when things don't go his way, maybe being passed over in the main draft is a good wakeup call.
