Wow, didn’t see that coming.

What a second half, midfielder’s JFH, Butters, Rozee, Wines
Burton dominated
Why can’t Lycett play with that intent every week.
Marshall is on fire.
Bergman owned the wing.
So many played well.

Looks like we worked on our kick in strategies in the pre season. Last year it was almost always a long kick to Dixon or another tall. More variety this game and we looked better for it. Started some nice transitions from defence
Yep slow long high kick to point of the square! So painful to watch over & over

It's a long way to go, but it's good to see the "sack ken" fetishists and general doomsday morons put in their place for a week

The successless, flagless, Robbie retired without so much as a Grand Finalless place

Not getting to excited as I haven't watched the game.

But, going by the score line our ability to kick straight looks to be an ongoing issue.

Brisbane are still are very good side and will no doubt play finals.
Luckily we don't play them again, for now.

Yeh it's not like we haven't won the odd game before and still had 10 years of failure. You really got us there.

JHF really sped up the midfield.
Our field kicking.Run on handball,Busting the corridor in the second half.
Like Rioli and Fanta as our small fwds,in the same team.+SPP pressure acts.Dixon looks fit and ready.Mitch G will improve this season.
Port have had a good look at 2022.And have improved over the summer pre season.
We will know a lot more after the Collingwood clash.

Was not expecting that result

Neither were most of us there. Pre-game most of my group were defeatist but those first 8mins had us all thinking maybe.

Come 1/2 time the free kick count was being circulated to  looks. I think even the team were angry and played angry in that

deciding 3rd qtr. JHF and Bergman were hard to distinguish but wow whadda debut by the Hornet... incredible. Suck eggs Norf.

Come the 1/2 time break I got talking to a woman in a Brisbane top. Turns out she's Lachie Neale's mum. Said Lachie wants to come

back home if possible AND Port are his preferred. Crowd lifting result with nearly everyone shocked by the result.

Sheesh roly poly can play a real pro.

Most of the behinds were kicked from tight angles, mostly in the first half, where we were doing our usual no idea going forward, only hitting targets on the boundary where our opponents were happy to let us mark the ball.

After that JHF gave a 3rd quarter masterclass in hitting targets going forward and his teammates seemed inspired and joined in.

Daniel Rich gained 1010 metres, fair effort that. Next best was JHF with 532
Aaron Hall has had 1169, 967 and 835 meters gained in his last 3 games against the Crows. And North lost all those games by plenty.

As for Pordadelaide stats, Dixon 4 marks on the lead this year vs 3 marks on the lead for all of 2022
