Re: round 9 carlton v west coast

oh by the way buckley is interviewing the three no.1 picks at half time - in case you missed that

Yeah, just watched that segment.

Bland in the extreme.

That goal umpire knew that ball hit the post.
It was his call, but I think it sounded like he was talked out of it.

Easily the most inconsistent umpiring I have seen for a long time. I don't like to criticise them, because, being one, I do know how hard it can be and the angles and all the different cameras. But they have massacred the 'prior opportunity' part of the game, both ways. I don't get it.

Also, West Coast, are not so good any more. Yes, it took me this long to be certain. Oh well.

That missed poster/goal has cost me some serious dough well serious in my mind here.

Had $150 on Carlton under 39.5 @ $2.25 - I am spewing to say the least.

At least i took them head to head in my multis.

Its the media that has pumped Carlton up too much according to Fev.

I must have dreamed about the whole "They Know We're Coming" campaign.

How did you become aware of the slogan? I know support for our club stretches far & wide, but other than in the media, I can't say I have seen the slogan anywhere else in South East Qld. It's not exactly on every bumper sticker up here. Or in shopfronts, or emblazoned on billboards.

Was first brought to my attention by Carlton supporters on your board.

Darren Glass smashed again.

4th time this year in 10 matches that he's given up 4 or more in a game, 3rd time he's been genuinely creamed, each time against a recognised genuine power forward.

Trust however, another of his (growing number of) poor fairings to be cast under the rug by those blissfully ignorant Eagles fans who continue to insist on comparing him to the best, and telling us what a marvellous return to career best touch it's been for him. :thumbsu:

Proof is in the pudding, the guy is fast becomming the new Darren Gaspar.

Hopefully we can look forward, yet again, to another blatant AA "plug" for him from Dennis Commetti against the Cats next week. Seriously, it would be nice for WA's sports reader to give a wrap to... well... any other FB in the league for a change, rather than spouting out undeserved one's for bias's sake.

Darren Glass smashed again.

blah blah blah....

this post is objective.
no agenda here.

maybe if Glass played on a half decent team we could compare his performance to Scarlett's. But while he's playing for the West Coast Sheltered Workshop and Scarlett plays for quite possibly the best team ever Geelong fans pushing Scarlett wheelbarrows should probably say nothing for fear of looking like d1ckheads.
