Too many upset that we couldn't ice this and win by 60, we're still ridiculously young. They were ahead of us on the ladder. We need to stop expecting 2015 Hawks wins... for now.

The effort in this win was bloody huge. So proud of this club.

I’m one of those but also rapt with the effort and the win.

Kind of a good thing that can be a bit underwhelmed with final winning margin. Was a fair domination.

However the all day tenacity and effort was awesome 🤩

Impey's last month has been the best in his career IMO. Even better than before his injury.

He is a real leader of the club and so happy for him to get the opportunity to captain the club a few weeks ago.

Fantastic win this. İn 12 months time we'll turn these solid wins into 10 goal Drubbings. Crows just like the dogs, lions and saints, were playing for top 8 positions against us yet we've been able to hold them all off and get the wins.
İf only we held on for another 10 seconds against those fake also rans ( port) , we'd be looking to maybe sneak into the 8.
Moore, AA beckons.

✅ Gunston had some nice moments in his 250th
✅ Dylan Moore was immense
✅ Loved seeing the pressure being applied throughout the game
✅ New HTB interpretation is a winner IMO
✅ The boys did well not to drop their heads after that very poor period in the 3rd
✅ This win might’ve cured my PTSD from the Port game

Was a great win against tough opposition! Despite the Crows having lost 6 games before this one, 3 of those were by less than a kick… they had the 4th best defence in the league. That was their second biggest loss this year, and the first time anyone has kicked 100 pts against them :)

That’s some good perspective

I'm the same in the moment, just gotta keep reminding myself that this was an underdog win. Beating them that comfortably is huge in itself.

Very good for 2 and a half quarters then it became sloppy and selfish.

Next step Is to bury a team, been up by 40+ in the 3rd quarter 3 times so far for just a 45 and 27 point wins and the Port loss

So, do we dare start mentioning the 'F' word?

Jumped to a 4 goal lead early in the game and it never really swung outside of 3 goals to 6 goals for the bulk of the game. Every time they threw everything at us we bounced back.

Still need to watch ourselves from being overly aggressive but they are learning a lot and will continue to learn a lot.

Lots to like from today

Dylan Moore - 27 possessions and 5 goals 🤩. Making a solid claim to be the best pure half forward in the competition.

Jack Ginnivan - 22 possessions and 2 goals. Possibly the hardest working forward pocket in the league?

Ned Reeves - 10 possessions, 3 marks, 1 goal and 21 hitouts. Solid performance in the absence of Meek.

Jack Gunston - 14 disposals and 3 goals. Leave him as our leading, medium forward for the rest of the year now he has his kicking boots back.

James.Sicily - 21 disposals and 9 marks. Starting to see the Sicily of old which is huge for the teams chances of making finals.

Only one negative from the day was CJs form. He looks like he could do with a run in the VFL to find some touch TBH.
