This game really shows how far we’ve come. Left a lot of goals out there and gave up a number of very easy ones yet still won it comfortably.

We don’t have to be at our best to win games now. Really building into this year well.

Moore is just such a gun. Ridiculous game by him.

Worpel didn't star or anything but I want to point out how good he is with his shepherding/blocking in the middle to allow Newcombe to run through for a quality clearance.

Happened numerous times today and I just love that type of unselfish play.

great win against a team on a similar trajectory. It’s weird but crows are very similar to us in the fact their late draft picks are all better than their high draft picks. We’re looking streets ahead and just imagine if our high picks in DGB, Ward and Watson all come on. Boy oh boyyyy

There were many times today where our ball movement was like watching our threepeat side at our best. Not that clinically dominant but as damn close as I’ve seen since 2016. Watching Sam and the side on the ground at the end of the match taking it in - hate to get too far ahead of myself on this but…we’re coming and the rest of the league better get ready.

One thing I’m really loving is just how low our possession our mids are while still being maximum impact. Every disposal is with purpose.

Crouch, Laird and Soligo combined had 94 touches while Nash, Day, Duke and Worps only had 83 between the four of them but had multiple times more impact on the game

Can't fault this overall.
Got a good lead early, got challenged, but still kept control of the game and never looked like losing

No stand outs (even Moore 5 didn't feel like a 5 goal game)

Hard to believe and also frustrating that we'd only be 1.5 games outside the 8 if we didn't capitulate against Port. With GWS, Tigers and Eagles coming up we I guess anything is possible but I'm just glad we're playing positive footy.

Too many upset that we couldn't ice this and win by 60, we're still ridiculously young. They were ahead of us on the ladder. We need to stop expecting 2015 Hawks wins... for now.

The effort in this win was bloody huge. So proud of this club.

The pressure in the 3rd was insane. The crowd on their feet standing.

You could tell we were a bit cooked after that but still did enough to win.

I also loved Chol in the ruck. It's certainly cool to watch a ruckman trying to jump on someone elses shoulders in the centre.
