Wouldn't have expected them too. The game isn't til Sunday so we have time to get Jamo right but probably not Waite.

On exposed form I actually think Hampson is pretty close to Warnock in terms of hit outs to advantagem and seems to run the games out pretty well. I would be pretty annoyed if Warnock is given a free pass back into the ones when Hampson has played near his best game for the club.

No way should Warnock come straight back in after missing 2 weeks with concussion. We saw how slow Ed was to regain some form after missing a couple. 206 should play minimum 1 game for the Ants.

Hampson was pretty good against the Dees, and really good against Port, and deserves another game.

To be fair to Brogan, he was on one leg for most of the match. Then tore his hand to shreds.

Guess that makes them even...Hampson rucked against Brogan with a busted finger and a padded support on his right knee.

Based on that:

In: Warnock, Henderson

Out: Hampson, Waite

Tough on Hammer at first view, but I thought he under-performed these last two weeks and is clearly third in line for the ruck position. Waite out because we aren't taking risks, introducing Henderson who has been fantastic in the twos.

Kreuzer on the cusp, O'halpin will need to play very well this week. Bower for Thornton also on the cards, and all smalls on the fringe will need to pick-up.

Yeah I actually take the six frees against as a positive of sorts...many the result of Hampson trying to physically impose himself at the contest.

He moved well and chased well on the weekend. A few of his handballs were actually of a reasonable quality rather than the hit and hopes we have seen earlier in the year. If this guy ever genuinely beleives that he belongs at the top level he will bust some games wide open.

Can't follow this thinking sorry...can't see how Hampson under performed on the weekend, it was probably as good a performance as we have seem from any Carlton ruck this year.

Don't know how he would be clearly third in line for rucking duties either. Warnock was labouring in the weeks prior to his injury, and not running games out. How much ruckwork Kreuzer will be in line for on his return is a mystery.

Warnock seems to be the assumed number one on here, yet in reality we have invested more in Hampson. I say give the guy a shot while he is in some sort of form.

Hampson won't be dropped for a player who hasn't played in two weeks.

Not a chance I would risk Waite if there is any doubt.
Although we did see JR play after suffering hamstring tightness the week before against Melbourne.

What Rattens presser really highlights is that we have a heap of players really pushing for selection this week.

I was impressed with Hampsons game the last two weeks ..keep him in and let him build his confidence ....not sure a rusty Warnock would make much difference.

Tempted to brink Krueze back but i think they will err on the side of caution, and give him another week .

Yeah i'd like to see Hammer given at least another week actually.

We know once finals comes Warnock will be our man. The more games Hammer can get the better so it's a seamless transition if Warnock cops an injury at the business end. Touch wood he doesn't.

Gee I feel like a contrary bastard today...I don't know how this can be a known known, at very least its an known unknown, possibly even an unknown unknown.

If the jumping and hitting the ball bit is realtively even it probably comes down to which ruckman can provide physical pressure and do some clearance work at stoppages, who can provide a marking target around the ground, and drop into the defensive or offensive 50 as required.

Line ball for mine, which is a great thing.
