That was a huge positive for mine and Bolton must have been rapt. Hawthorn's success has been based on everyone on the ground stepping up when required.

And even though Gibbs was quiet, he still laid 6 tackles and had three clearances. So he was working.

Don't know how long our great story will last but the story here is:
Murphy doesn't play........Gibbs gets swamped........Cripps is on one leg..........Curnow & Kerridge take over to be our best mids on the day.

This alone must make Bolton and the group as a whole, very happy.......especially given we didn't have a ruck-man after half time.

really should beat St Kilda, an average list that's a bit beaten up at the moment, we're well ahead of them, we seem to be winning games we should win which is good. Our list is exceptionally healthy.

Lucky for me i'm older than most and remember the 70s/80s. Not that I think being old is lucky...lol. I remember the 60s though seeing the Saints win a flag. Was very young but remember it well.

He's got another year on his contract, and we really don't have anyone else to cover our KPDs, so I wouldn't have thought we'd hear about that until at least the last round or 2.
