May have just been 15, but compare the pair.
Bush league at its best
Melbourne were and still are imploding internally as a team with half the squad wanting to leave and go to another club and the other half on drugs. And it was a home game where we were putting a team with 100 games of experience per player on the park, vrs 80 games per player today vrs the reigning Premiers on their home ground. Todays game was much more significant.View attachment 2259163

I know, I know, Simmo’s the devil, but without Yeo against a full strength Melbourne midfield that was one of our best wins of the last decade.
Bounce back was great today. Long may it continue.
This has been a league-wide problem through the first three roundsDermi said one umpire called not 15 with hipwood pass and another paid mark.
Did we have same umpires as GC game as they also how no idea how far 15 mtr is. GC had plenty 10mtr passes, one I swear was 5m
2024 Denons we’re not exactly at their peak though, Brisbane are, and this was on their home turf.View attachment 2259163

Whole lot of words about things nobody ever said. I said for two years Simmo was on the hot seat, and thought the only thing giving him a stay of execution were injuries and the club going bizarrely early on a secret contract extension. Had to go when he did, if not sooner. There’s a difference between “they won’t sack him this year” and “they shouldn’t sack him this year”.Melbourne were and still are imploding internally as a team with half the squad wanting to leave and go to another club and the other half on drugs. Maybe the Simpson barrackers like yourself who wanted a clearly burned out coach who didn't want to be there anymore to still be coaching us now should admit how wrong they were. And since it is mostly the same group of posters, led by yourself, who denied all the way up until last year that there was any problem with our list and no need for a rebuild and it was all just Covid and injuries should admit how wrong they were about that too.
In fact you have been totally and utterly wrong about pretty much everything on this board for several years. Maybe you should ponder that.
Our best wins of the last decade, that’s a stretch isn’t it? More like one of our only wins in the last couple of years under Simmo. What are you bringing up him for anyway? You recently reprimanded me for doing the same thing.View attachment 2259163

One of, not our best. One of. Read the pre game preview thread for what we were expecting at the time if you don’t believe me.Our best wins of the last decade, that’s a stretch isn’t it? Yeah and you carried on with it. It’s ok for you but not others. Ripper! One of, not our best. One of. Read the pre game preview thread for what we were expecting at the time.
And if you note that time is linear, you’ll see that I didn’t bring him up, the person I was responding to did.
Good one, how clever. You got a poster of Simmo in your dunny?
I heard if you stand in front of a mirror and say "Simpo, Simpo, Simpo", you'll summon a certain group of posters.
Absolute trash from you tonight, way off your usual standard.I find it hard to believe you, in fact you have been totally and utterly wrong about pretty much everything on this board for several years. Maybe you should ponder that.
Graham can come in and replace Long, would like to see Gross get a run also, although not sure who he'd replace.WOW, just saw Hall had our highest contested possessions today and 14 out of his 15 no less. He was clean in tight by hand on a number of occasions too. Undroppable imo considering last week, even with Graham back. Fit him in

Sub maybe?
I noticed as we fatigued we moved away from the knock ons and taps to players in better positions that worked in the first half
Yeah, Hall needs to stay in based off today's effort. From that intraclub I saw where Gross was BOG from the B team I say we HAVE to play him if fully fit. But also Hall undroppable regardless on today’s effort. Good thing with Grossy is he has played alot fwd in juniors and knows where the goals are anyway
