My blood is BOILING right now. Forget the multiple deliberates and non-paid 50 against McCartin. DID WE NOT LEARN ****ING ANYTHING FROM LAST WEEK?

Heeney, like Cripps last week has put his team on his shoulders and for an entire quarter we couldn’t find an answer.

AGAIN, we’re shown up in the midfield when it counted. AGAIN, if we’re not getting maximum output from Nick no one is stepping up. AGAIN, we couldn’t just find a single goal to stem the flow.

Thank **** for Mitch McGovern last week, because we’d be staring at back to back shitting of the bed. Get beat, fine. Get beat by what you know, inexcusable.

So good for so long in this game, and now our season is over. Good riddance. I’m ****ing filthy.

We weren’t making the finals anyway, so it doesn’t really matter in that regard.

We need to stop going into our shell when we have a lead. It’s a real weakness.

But gee… that umpiring… abysmal. It’s a blight on the game.
Agree, making finals was always going to be hard. But to lose the game the way we did is what really annoys me rather than what’s at stake.

An over reliance on our veteran midfielders is telling.

They and by extension we can't run out games like we did last year.

It'll be worse next year unless we see the rise of some youth through that midfield.

What about the 50 that should have been paid to McStay?

Even Hodge was saying it, and he hates us.
Non 50 to Long 60m from goal when he was penalised for a high was worse. Swans player was very clearly trying to hold him up.

Then there was 3 tackles in a row and minute 50m from our goal where all players had a similar time to get rid of the footy. The first against Elliott was paid in an instant, the other two against Sydney weren’t even called play on, they were simply ignored.

And don’t get me started on the last two deliberate out of bounds where the closer ump called for a throw in on both occasions.

This year we’ve lacked the ruthlessness of 2023.
With 14mins to go and 27 pts up, we should have stepping on the gas and put them to the sword.

As bad the umpiring was, the coaching was atrocious that entire match.

McRae basically kept Sydney in the game with our shitty chipping short game on a tiny make up ground like the SCG

Not sure about this. We had the game in the palm of our hands with 12 minutes left. We just had to keep playing the same and score. But we went into the tried and failed conservative mode.

I can't believe how we keep doing the same shit. Difference is now we are the ones who choke at the end.
Joke of a coaching performance tonight.
Lippinski and Schultz ... Useless! Delist!

Seriously, how about we learn to actually disguise them like a professional team? Most of them were blatant.

The last 2 were ****ing disgusting decisions. Cox should have won a free kick for being tackled without the ball.

But the last one, the umpire closest to it and on the boundary with perfect view instructed his mate to not pay deliberate and yet he did…

Held Heeney, Warner and Gulden all game until when it counted.

Carbon copy to last week except Sydney didn't have a player missing after the season.

Why would you wait that long to sub a player on when you're getting over ran?

Season over. That hurts.

By the way pay the 50 you weak umpires.

The umpires were too focussed on deliberate out of bounds to worry about 50m penalties.

Callum Mills would never pass a concussion test. Sounds like he's had 20 beers.

We cant close out games. Time to ditch the Presti mode nonsense unless its < 5 minutes to go and just play Rocca mode. We are far better team when we playing attacking footy.

We play better defensive footy when we attack.

Coaches.
