Yes I like it, ODN where are you sweet ODN.

Re: Team vs Essendon

Why did Scotland get dropped? Interesting, first Fisher, now Scotland...

I'm not sure that Fisher has exactly been dropped. If you remember, he dislocated his elbow just before Christmas, and therefore couldn't participate in all training. Coming from a fair way back, and is fair to say that he is battling with Wiggins for that spot accross HF.

As for the changes, not disappointed that both Grigg and Stevens have come in, but we are limited down back now, with Thornton, Waite and Bower now having to take important roles.

Still think we will be far too strong for them, especially through the midfield.

A couple of interesting things to note though - they have only gone in with one ruckman in Hille, and Ryder has been named at CHB to play on Cloke. We could perhaps stretch them down there, especially is Kreuzer goes down there as well.

I hope you are right Mr. HBF I don't like close games, not good for the heart.

Lets not get too carried away. We all know the history anything can happen in these games.

i'm disappointed that Setenta didn't get selected, Thornton and Waite cannot play on anyone 1 on 1. They are great 3rd man defender. Setenta would be great to play on either Lucas or Lloyd, whoever is playing full forward, and let Thornton and Waite helping him out.

Waite isn't great at it, but certainly can do it, and as for Thornton, he certainly can do it.

Look at his last two games against Brisbane. Two very respectable, if not very good performances playing on a premier key forward, Brow.

I think Scotland is injured - He's in our best side for sure - I haven't read all posts ( Yep I'm lazy ) so don't know if it's been raised.
It's all a bit suss to me.

I thought Scotland would easily be in top 22 and probably in top 15 players.

I think Scotland isn't match fit [which doesn't make sense since he played a decent game in round 1 and one bad game in round 2]

Very happy with the team on paper but we all know too well that Carlton vs Essendon games can go either way.

It certainly does help that they don't have a full squad but our guys just need to remain focussed on the task at hand and come away with the 4 points.

When was the last time we won 3 games in a row? Been that long I can't even remember....

if scotland isnt injured I would say that JR is very very lucky... however should be given the job on Jobe Watson tonight... after the centre bounce that is we dont need him in there clangering it up when we are trying for the centre clearance...

Don't think Scotland was match fit so they have just decided to let him recover in the reserves. Remember he did have 4 operations in the preseason.

game starts at 7.10

personally im gonna get to richmond station at 6.10, so i'm taking a 5.30ish train from blackburn

depends what line ur taking though

I am roughly the same... wont read the paper all day, buy the paper on the way and get to the ground about 6pm so I can try and get a walk up seat in AFL members on level 2.

I'm coming from Sydenham way so not that far, about 15 - 20 minutes by train. Haven't taken a train in ages, would it be easier to get off at Richmond or at Jolimont?
