I don't think anyone has claimed all is "good" but this result doesn't tell us much we didn't know. The team we're fielding is struggling to be competitive and we just have to work through that.

I thought Hunt was pretty good. Must be our most successful recruit in his first year for us, given how they tend to take a year to settle in. Can’t remember Stenglein era though.

I can see why Melb probably weren’t too disappointed about him leaving, he can’t kick, just bombs it to the opposition.

Yes we can. This is the perfect result. Get a generational talent and simply can't be accused of tanking for it, like Hawthorn. We wouldn't be nearly as bad if we had a full squad to pick from, so we'd be no chance.

It'll also make list decisions far easier at the end of the year on who to let go.

I enjoyed watching the game . We are finding out what our fringe players can do . SPS is a keeper . This extended run he is getting has helped.

I mean, by keeper do you mean he's going to he retained for another season due to the fact there's 6-8 players worse than him on our list and we can't cut that deep?

For all the fans he's earned recently, if we had a proper list with actual talent, I wouldn't automatically be including SPS.

Handy depth, but failed to take his game to the next level in the AFL and injuries regular derail any good form he has.
