I'll give Bartel this credit.

McGuire tried to do a Caro and portray Tredrea as dancing on Ken's grave, but Bartel pushed back.

Bartel was at the game and next to the 5aa box and says that Tredrea was furious, which is apparent during and after the call.

The club deserves everything they get and then some. Place is near unrecognisable. Supporters were always revered and deemed the lifeblood of the club. Eat shit Hinkley, Koch, Davies, Richardson. Hope you choke on it.

Dead right. Back in the good old days, if Port dished up a performance like the one we've just witnessed, the players and officials would be forced to face the wrath of the fans back at the club. But now we're completely irrelevant, and if we ever have the audacity to express a negative opinion - or worse, boo an underperforming coach, we're considered the dregs of humanity.

Does this change in security for Ken mean CD has opened his eyes or is it more by sheer weight of failure the broader senior leadership team is ignoring CDs opinion on Ken?

I don't know what CD's current opinion is about Ken's future if it was solely up to him. But I do know that he is on board with the collective decision surrounding Ken's future.
