They really need to be told to do their jobs here, it's an obvious decision. 2 winning quarters out of 12 in 3 finals, and if you go further back, we've won 3 quarters out of our last 24 in finals. 3 quarters in 6 games.

He can't escape because Sicily hit the post. This isn't good enough.

I wholeheartedly agree with you.

I don't expect them to be making such a decision tonight though - not in the heat of the emotion of a prelim loss.
Over the weekend I would be surprised if a few tough conversations aren't had.

No decision has been made. That was reaffirmed to me tonight after the game.

If I hear anything over the weekend good or bad I'll post it in here.
At this point, I am convinced that the only reason Ken would stay is because we cannot pay him out because I have no idea how you'd look at the facts/stats and that terrible performance and think "oh yeah, his 13th year will be his year"

That was as bad as the Geelong final for mine, not as bad on the scoreboard but never in it. How many times can you have your pants pulled down on the big stage beamed around the cosmos to all and sundry without consequences? ridiculous.

Our AFL history is littered with Preliminary blowouts. 2002, 2003, 2021 and 2024. Is it a culture thing that has lingered since our inception in 1997 and who instilled it?

They can 100% pay him out. They have even had discussions how they would structure a few things financially in the soft cap to limit the damage of a payout so that the new head coach would have all the necessary resources available to compete from day 1.

Gotta hand in a bent peg folks.
I really thought he was taking you all the way this year.
Kinda glad he got so much out of your boys last week tbh as I'd hate to have lost to Sydney or Geelong.

I still think with a list tweak or two he will have you right thereabouts next season though.
Maybe bringing in Lukosius to support Dixon will be all it takes?

****ing good pull the trigger, end this sterile slop now for all our sakes

Dixon can go milk cows.

If this is the case, no administration would be able to find one good reason to keep him if they were driven to have success at the football club.

P.S Not questioning your source, I just can't seem to digest how stupid our administration is.

Yep, I just don't see how he could possibly survive any level of scrutiny after we've lost 21 of our last 24 finals quarters.

What are we even here for if someone with a record like that can keep his job?

He was as flat as buggery this week after his emotion drenched aeroplane antics last week, it's been mentioned in the media he can't keep a grounded level it swings from emotional embarrassing maniac to weekend at bernie's cadaver.
Angry Kenny under pressure performs at his best. Then came Koch to wreck it all again by taking the pressure off Ken in another critical finals campaign.

Would the players reacted differently if Ken was still on the hook for his coaching career?

Have a lot of questions to ask from the club on how they're okay with letting Ken go if another club offers. It's happened multiple times in Ken's career already.

If that's the case, that means that they knew he is somewhat the problem and likely not the best man for the job. Yet, why did they keep extending him?

They problem is that if your inside sources were competent people they would not have anything to do with the Port board.

They are incompetent so Hinkley will most probably stay

No other club wants Ken and its not happened multiple times.

History meant to be broken that's Sydney did it today . How we can have different results when we are doing same old shit for last 12 years along Ken.
