I'll choose my words carefully as I'm aware I'm a guest here.

There is an argument that could be made that your list isn't the best in the comp, nor was it in any of the past seasons were discussing.
The flip side is if you DO rate it as the best then you need to give Ken massive props for list management.

Personally (and being fully aware you beat us twice this year) I think you have a few areas of list weakness that the top teams can exploit.

How would anyone know how good or bad the list is, we only have the list as coached by Hinkley and nothing to compare it against. Our list has no depth I accept that but we have 9 separate All-Australian players, one Brownlow medalist another with multiple top 3 finishes. Pretty much our number 4 midfielder has a Brownlow in the last 3 years.

I think its fair to say our list is decent.

Is the list without fault - of course not and we have done some very dubious recruiting in the pursuit of giving Hinkley "the missing pieces".

But there comes a time when enough is enough and internally at Port this was the year we were going to win the Premiership and it has resulted in the same usual failure.

Sack Hinkley he is the cause not the solution.

This administration is so weak, and so joined at the hip with this loser, that I can actually imagine this scenario playing out. Imagine Hinkley coaches for the whole minor round, and we make the top 4. We then exit the finals in straight sets.

This would leave Ken on 299 games, and in that scenario, the club would more than likely feel duty bound to extend his contract, to get him to 300. Sounds insane, but I wouldn't put it past them.

Why would players leave because Ken gets sacked? He won’t get a coaching job elsewhere, so where are they going to?

I've posted the question before, what AFL player is going to tear up their contract to go and be coached by Daddy Donuts in some Victorian bush league?

This is Kens twelfth season and essentially 3rd list, when do we say the guy is clearly incapable of building and developing a GF list?? Another 3-4 years making him almost a 20 year coach...pfft

And also, if he isn't to blame at all for the last twelve years of failure, surely someone is? Should probably be sacking Parker and Cripps right?
