Well lets wait and see if its successful. They tied themselves to Cox and didnt test the market at all. The Swans have a side ready to go right now yet are going with a first time head coach.

Im not saying its wrong, or wont work. Im just saying lets wait before judging.
I just meant from a clean point of view - don’t announce the succession plan particularly now

You don’t need to remind me - we had the Voss show firsthand and we know how that ended

I'm guessing Chachi is referring to the many comments related to his appearance, intellect, etc. Unendearing yes but we're on the internet so when in Rome I guess. There aren't too many comments that seriously cross the line and most of them get deleted.
Of course all the comments that Koch and the funky bunch make about the white noise supporters and their intellect should be ignored.

Dixon saying that supporters and members questioning Hinkley lacked intelligence sums how the club regards any non-KoolAid drinkers.

The people at the club who have an absolute disdain for the supporter base. Davies and Richardson this very night at the AGM told people that we'd been a successful club under their watch and got uppity and defensive when it was suggested to them that that was wrong.

They hate us, they don't care about being successful, they only care about being employed with their mates. We have been entirely co-opted by this group of losers who will stay at our club forever if we don't root them out.

Only thing Port Adelaide-related on this list is the coach carrying on like a bellend after the semi-final, completely overshadowing what was a great win his players.

Just the latest proof that everything at PAFC has become about one individual to the detriment of the collective.

Apparently Ken has confided to those close to him that he’s worried the Ginnivan incident will be his legacy, he might be right given Caro is a close source and supporter of his and even she won’t let it go.

I'm surprised that Caro didn't put her own exposé of Tredrea's treasonous "good call" on the list.

CD’s closing line, after telling us having the 2nd or 3rd most H&A wins was success, was essentially “I’ll keep doing this job for as long as the club wants me”.

Given who is running the club we won’t be rid of him any time soon.

Ken’s position feels more precarious but only based on the conventional wisdom that 13 failed seasons is too many, but as we well know conventional wisdom has no place in the current iteration of the Port Adelaide Football Club, it’s H&A wins and jobs for the boys.

I think if there is no succession plan announced by round 1 that you cannot discount the possibility of another contract extension.

I do think they'll announce it before round 1 though. But not before Christmas.

I’ve already disengaged. I don’t trust this administration. There won’t be any talk of a succession plan - they are just rolling into another year as per usual.

It’s too risky to get rid of Ken, need to keep those home and away wins up.

Of the presentations, Davies was the most self serving. Yes. 3rd on the home and away ladder between 2013 and 2024. That'll go down in the AFL annals of history as an impressive block of 12 years during the regular season. Are we back using the imperial system?

What an absolutely useless stat that nobody outside of PAFC will ever acknowledge, remember or care about.

The fact the club has even compiled this statistic and boasts it as some sort of achievement shows how absolutely entrenched in mediocrity they are.

This is pure self-preservation and job-justification by these people. I guess that’s the club’s culture now.

I dunno guys, '3rd most home and away wins 2013-2024' has all the makings of a blockbuster film.

How a little old club who had never been any good was saved by a finance nerd from Sydney and a hick from Camperdown. The rise and rise from 2012 to the lofty heights of a handful of massive preliminary final defeats. A truly inspiring tale of a group of men determined to win home and away games and make their community proud.

i think 2025 will be kens last, like ive stated before his coment of having another crack really sounded like give me 1 more crack. He is a dumb guy but i think he realises its almost over.
He has had about 5 extra years of coaching than he should have had.
But dont expect a sacking mid season we could be sitting 3-8 and the club still wont move him on. For whatever reason our club thinks we owe this loser!!
He will coach the whole season and what ever the result he will leave like longmire did this year probably straight after the season though.
