I think footy clubs are duty-bound to sell their supporters hope, optimism and a vision.

Ours doesn’t even try, openly and willingly continuing down a path which they know many of us actively despise, making the organisation a chore to support at the moment.

Like pretty much every Port fan I would not have let Ken continue as coach if I were the CEO. Now that's it's clear he's with us this coming season I'm going to accept the decision and support the lads.

Sure I will make noise when we inevitably fall short but right now there's no point getting angry over something I cannot control. We can all beat the drums as loud as we want but nothing will change until at least half way through next footy season. So I genuinely hope the club does well and when it's time to force change I'll be apart of that chorus.

The personal attacks however aren't justified and frankly most wouldn't say these things without the anonymity of a keyboard, and I don't accept passion for the club as justification for this behaviour.

Sure absolutely make him accountable for his coaching, I definitely have and will, but don't make it personal and lower your values in the process.

The only way the initial statement makes sense is if we assume its some sort of schrodinger's cat situation where the teapot exists in the quantum realm as a chocolate coloured and chocolate teapot at the same time yet its make up is contingently based on what you try to use it for; it exists as chocolate coloured when you want to eat, and exists as chocolate when you want tea.

But if this is the case the quantum chocolate teapot would indeed be useful to humanity in learning about the nature of space and time and the interactions between the two. Thus the original comment creates a paradox. It only can maintain its uselessness via quantum mechanics if we dont know about its existence, yet if it isnt spoken in to existence then its utility cant be considered in the first place.

Good on him. Dont know why people are bagging him for it. The call of "Get it to Houston" and "Kick it to Dixon" are thankfully gone.

Glad we can finally bin that Hinkley game-plan and now play as a team again with everyone playing a role, not reliant on two individuals.

Now just need to figure out how we can bin Hinkley ... The guy is a frikkin' cockroach!

Who can name which clubs were 1st and 2nd on the home and away ladder between 2013 and 2024?

I tried Googling it but couldn't find the answer.

I can however name all of the teams that won flags in that time. It is certainly a sign of how far from our once great club we have been taken by the current loser administration when they use obscure statistics to justify "success".

At least partly to blame is the dilution of the motto "We exist to win premierships". Those 5 words served as a guiding star for the club, an easy way to make sure every decision was made with the correct goal in mind.

Now its "we exist to win premiership and community the proudery blah blah blah". Its become a meaningless and confusing cop out that gives people an out for failure.
