Don't do it. I watched half and wanted to smash my phone so I stopped.

You did better then me, I lasted 5 min before I turned it off.

They've literally won finals and a flag due to umpiring.

He wouldn't be as good at port. No way. Not without record free kick differentials.

Umpiring and the free tally can be brought up but he's got them back into a GF with a flag 5 years ago. His teams when up and about play good football. It is hard to deny that he's a capable coach. He could do well here if he can change our vanilla culture.

No.

Grant Thomas was sacked after three seasons consisting of two prelim losses and an elimination final loss.

Hinkley gets an extension after losing finals.

Grant Thomas wasn't sacked because of on field results, he was sacked because he fell out with his coke head best mate Rod Butters (who hired him as coach when Thomas was a board member) after a business deal gone wrong. It's public record that Thomas was going to be sacked even if he won the flag.

Only thing is, he only has 6 months of pay out
Sack him immediately. We can probably do without a head coach for 3-4 months thereby saving the majority of the payout. CD can handle drafting and trading and one of the assistants can take early pre-season training. It's mainly only fitness and conditioning work pre-Christmas anyway.

Lol ok so St Kilda were willing to sack a coach that won a flag meanwhile at Ports

I don't care what people say about the 2016 flag being a rig job Bevo is an outstanding coach & sticks up for his players. I'd have him at Port in a heartbeat talk about motivation, prep & a very watchable game style.
Beveridge is a terrible coach who's been gifted one flag by blatant cheating and might be about to get gifted another by his list managers putting together one of the best midfields that the game has ever seen.

I could coach a midfield with Bontempelli, Macrae, Dunkley, Libba, Treloar, Bailey Smith and Hunter in it to a GF. They've got 7 midfielders who would be at least our third best midfielder. They've made it this far in spite of Beveridge, not because of him.

I feel a little bit bad for saying some of the things i said about Ken Hinkley. He's not an awful human being, he's just not a good coach.

This is all on that piece of human refuse, David Koch. And that is where the real focus of my anger lies.
Koch is running his PAFC legacy which he would hate and if he realised he would make a change but unfortunately he is too arrogant and pigbheaded to even see the forest for the trees.

He genuinely thinks Ken is wonderful and that we are just white noise.

#sackken

Hinkley completed and utterly outclassed and out coached in every facet of the game. The lead up mind games- Bevo, the game strategy- Bevo, and the ability to exploit an extra midfielder with us “defending” from the start was so clear. Hinkley is so basic and such a country level football coach. The way Bulldogs blocked Allir and exposed our back line was brutal to watch. Gray in the middle was like happy birthday for Libba

He will disappear to the country for the summer and race some greyhounds, while the best coaches will go to school again on leadership culture and talent.

Hinkley will never ever win a premiership as a senior coach. A good solid country football coach who races greyhounds on the side, is his level of comfort and competence. He shows no work ethic and little ability to learn, grow and evolve.

Voss is there and ready to go. Has positive energy, has a killer competitive instinct, is from what I can tell a learner and so much a better person. Lets get him in the chair!

What we saw live at the ground on Saturday night was devastating for my family.

Im sincerely sorry you had to witness that live. Hinkley never was and never will be a strategic coach. Always needs a strategic assistant, and then is too stubborn to change.

What a load of twaddle

Strong counter argument as always James

All our complaints for the last umpteen years about Hinkley's refusal to pick players in position, his not picking enough talls, his inexplicable love of untalented state league triers, all go double for Beveridge. He ****ing sucks. He's just been gifted a midfield that every other coach in the league could only dream of.

Do you think anyone can coach? I mean I'm sure not to the level you could but..

He makes that star studded midfield work, they sacrifice for each other and for the better of the team, and he has the Dogs ready to run through brick walls and nothing is impossible to them. He has them motivated to take on the world so to speak. They went up to Brisbane, got a massive win there, then came here without their best defender, backs against the wall and absolutely smashed us. If that's a man that can't coach, I'd hate to hear your opinion on Hinkley or the other coaches in the comp minus Goodwin.

He's a damn good coach, as much as you don't want to admit it but he is. I can't stand the bloke either but he's a great coach and you just have to swallow that fact and face it.
