I see the Club and it's media voices are sweeping all under the carpet, as I expected them too. They're all inept and weak. Disgustingly so.

This will backfire on them, massively.

The players will know what happened. Deep down they will know their mate didn't put in, didn't chase, didn't tackle. They'll all know it and it will stay with them unless it's addressed and measures put in place to make sure it never happens again. To do that will mean not renewing contracts of some players and coaches, trading a couple/few to make a statement and more importantly have clear direction from those with the power to do so that a culture change is required immediately.

We simply need to become tougher both individually and collectively. I get that society is moving towards a much softer way of being. Less truth and more compassion and maybe that's a good thing even though I'm not 100% convinced it is but footy is still a combative sport and especially so if you want to be the best. Intent and aggression is still a huge part of the game both physically and more importantly mentally and we lack that when it counts.

Last season we spent the summer and this season knowing we were 1 kick away from a GF after having lost to the eventual winner and the side many acknowledge as 'best in a generation'. Even though we were our own worst enemy late in that Prelim it does give you belief to move forward. That won't be the case after Saturday night. There was no honour whatsoever in what we dished up, there was only embarrassment & shame, on the playing group and coaching group as well.

You can't ever hide from that, you can't pretend that didn't happen. If you do, then you get what you deserve. That'll be a train wreck waiting to happen if it hasn't already.

Koch now on 5AA.
"We need to treat that game as an aberration".
"The trend is upwards".
:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Give up people. We're ****ed.
Hes the worst of the happy clappers.

**** me. I'm a 40 year member and that for the first time makes me consider whether my membership is worth it.

Why should I care so much if they don't.

I will re-sign because I love this club but Koch is a cancer.

#sackken

Koch is so paranoid about not rocking the boat ever since his tirade at the end of the 2017 EF. So desperate for stability he would rather consistent slightly above average performances than the possibility of a flag. He's as much a problem with this club as Hinkley. Both need to **** off.

That could be the most infuriating, nauseating thing I've heard anyone from the club say.

Did Koch wake up this morning and say "What's the dumbest thing I can say to the members this morning"?

The stability thing has always irked me you have to show something to warrant staying the course, if not people get comfortable it's not an environment for success.
What's the plan David an umpteenth reshuffle of assistants around Ken? Another 'missing piece' to jizz over?

I am speechless. Not an ounce of scrutiny. Just full support.
I’m done guys. Honestly.
I am shocked at so many people not already being done. I would never tell people to chuck in memberships, likewise would never be critical of those that do (I did 2 seasons ago), but I just feel that while we continue to get 55+k members, they give zero ****s about the odd disgruntled member chucking it in. Until they get like 20k non renewals they can do whatever the **** they like
