Interesting I guess - maybe the board is saving coin and putting the heat on a bit, would love to know The Schofield story, surely he knew Voss and Carlton were talking but didn’t even want to stay with job openings appearing.

Something more to that, can he not stand Ken that much he just had to get out? Something isn’t right with that picture.

You do have to wonder if Koch and co have finally grown some cajones and the heat is at last being applied to kern, or he has conned them into thinking he can get the job done without a senior assistant.

It's interesting I think coaching panels are too loaded in general tbh unless you are a newbie coach if you need a senior assistant on top of all the line coaches perhaps you should find another occupation. If Hinkley is ever gonna prove he can coach hmm there's nowhere to hide now.. gulp

There's a difference between having a Phil Walsh type in a strategy and support role to Vossy doing basically very little.

We know Hinkley is an atrocious match day coach. Now apparently Voss was the motivator... So what does ol Teflon ken actually offer? Mumbling press conferences and stubborn selections

Allowed myself to imagine today that it was us in the grand final and how excited I would be if it was the case.
That was a big mistake.

I've had all my travel calendar reminders for accommodation and flight reminders popping up on the phone the last few days. Should be driving back from Margaret River into the CBD today, but instead I'm sitting at my desk doing SFA. So depressing. I fell your pain. If we had anyone other that moron coaching us we would be where we should be today.

Just wondering if not replacing Voss means the club is preemtively saving money towards Hinkley's termination mid next year, hence the six-month payout. It would be a good argument to submit to the AFL who would need to provide approval.

Pure theory on my behalf though.
