Sandwiches are amazing. The fact you can make a sandwich using anything from spreads, to potato chips, hot chips, any meat of your fancy, any salad of yiur fancy, mix and match, makes them incredible. You can have it hot, cold, warm, soft or toasted. I'm gonna go make a sandwich right now.

This assessment of the man who gave his name to this wonderful creation seems a tad unfair:
