Is Hinkley the Earl of sandwich??
That reminds me if you're ever in Vegas and want a good hot sandwich go here. Don't ruin it for me by calling Kern the Earl of Sandwich though.

"Of those 14 coaches to have won 125 matches since 1990, 13 have at minimum participated in a grand final parade, with 11 of those walking away with at least one premiership."

I love how he highlights Ken's absolute buffoonery and mediocrity, then immediately dismisses it to highlight the 58% W/L ratio

Every team should be satisfied with 12-13 wins a year!

This needs to be written slightly differently, "Of those 125 wins achieved by Hinkley during his tenure as Port coach, at least 80 of them were against teams outside the top 8. Only a small percentage of those wins occurred against teams that actually know how to play football."

I reckon its already pretty clear: Of the 14 blokes that have coached as long as Ken, 13 have made grand finals, 11 have won flags.

Yeah but the way the article is written, Ken is portrayed as a master coach, whereas he's actually a record breaker for all the wrong reasons.

He could just say: of every coach in 120+ years of VFL/AFL history, only two have coached more games than ken Hinkley without at least making a grand final. Those 2 men are Terry Wallace and bill Stephen, who were each sacked multiple times over their long tenures at multiple clubs.

The replies are hilarious.

Fans of all clubs with Ken as coach or without a coach feel exactly the same way about Ken.
Love Shane's response, "I'd support Ken as Essendon coach, as it would annoy Koch, so win-win."

Someone needs to inform Hinkley, he can hide in Victoria all summer but his life will be made a living hell by supporters next year. Has Koch and the board given this any thought.
Best have a good think about the Bombers coaching job I reckon.
Gotta just ignore the white noise
