In before koch opens his big mouth and says ken isn't going anywhere so other clubs beware and stop trying to poach him.
Hey Kochie - in my humble opinion, the following clubs have been trying to poach Ken:

Yeah I reckon that's all.

Ken could secure his future on the GC with a 7 year deal. Donna would be begging Ken to get out of this hicksville town and it gives him access to the east coast greyhound fraternity. Ken could say i always loved the GC and was ready to move there in 2017 as a parting shot to Koch that he did actually play him as a fool all those years ago.

Tredders latest pod....reckons he knows for a fact senior people are Richmond are sounding out Carr, believes Port would have to seriously consider an official succession plan to retain Carr after 2025 should Hinkley get a two year extension, considering Ports turn around this year. Suggests Snowden could be one pushing this.

Unfortunately it could boil down to whether Carr wants to wait until 26 to become a senior coach? Richmond are a huge club with big resources. But having said that Richmond would be sounding out a few others as well so nothings a foregone conclusion.

Gonna be a very interesting next couple months.

succession plans never work, you either go for carr now or you get rid of him because if a senior role was offered to him he wont be waiting 2 years just to wipe kens backside

Maybe Kock will do something out of the box and go for dual coaches seeing how well dual captains worked? :drunk:
I'd prefer dual sackings: Hinkley and Koch.

According to Whateley on radio today "Kenny" has the upper hand, says he sat an exam whatever bs that means and that he's aced it.

What part of no GF appearances or no flags for 10 seasons say that he's aced coaching?
So funny how often he said "6 years!!?" On the radio In re to dew and that he'd not achieved anything...was completely on board with GC sacking him , so was derwaynee Russell
Totally different tune with ken .. they're all over him like pig in shit.

Technically they've both done nothing , Ken's just done nothing for longer.

We haven't won anything yet, finals are much more intense than home and away games, (unless you are playing against Port)
Hinkley's record in finals is below average when it counts, maybe that's why Koch shifted the goal posts from August to after finals.
Maybe Koch is not as stupid as we think, with our current form if he makes a decision now he would have to resign Ken but if we fail in finals again, decision easy.

Sack Hinkley.

Has kochie officially shifted the goal posts from August to end of the season?
Haven't seen this said publicly

If Dimma doesn't come through, GC would be mad not to throw the kitchen sink at Ken.....Kens one wood is creating an environment that retains / brings in players, and thats arguably GCs biggest need.

If were me I would throw an anvil at him.

Whatever cupboard we're locking Koch in, can we lock Gerard Whateley in the same cupboard?

Surely the gold coast would already be into kenny, they would have known dew was a dead man walking.

kenny is a perfect fit for Gold Coast, get it done Gold Coast.

we need to lock Koch away in a cupboard for the next 6-8 weeks
Perfect from the point of view of having a 'father figure' that the players will want to play for.

In an alternate timeline we let Ken walk to the Sun's at the end of 2017. By now six seasons of no finals may have made people wake up.

I tend to agree with you, but a consideration is how much Carr wants to coach our three quality young midfielders and the length of Hinkley's extension. If Carr has intel that Ken's extension is longer than what he's willing to wait for and a senior coaching position is on offer elsewhere, then he'll go if successful and ditch a succession plan.

The word at the time we gave Choco his last contract, that ended with him being sacked in that first year, was that Hardwick was keen in returning to Port under a succession plan if he wasn't successful in his pursuit of the Richmond senior coaching gig.

So, the club needs to determine how important Carr is to Port versus a Hinkley extension.

Snowdon's addition to the board intrigued me from the beginning.
