I wonder if Hinkley has lost leverage at Port with Hardwick seemingly a done deal to the Suns.
Many people have always linked Hinkley for years to Suns & last time he was out of contract there was talk of him going there.

Port can just wait end of the year now & see how the finals pan out, now that there is no other job available other than Richmond which we all know he isn't going to.

Making finals is good enough for Koch. We're three games and percentage ahead of the teams in seventh and eighth with three rounds to go. Finals is guaranteed. Hinkley's contract extension is a done deal. Bombing out in finals doesn't matter.
