I'm probably more nervous for this game than I was last night. We need to win this one.

Comes with the expectation of winning. I reckon the Freo game is the only game we've gone in favourites with the bookies.

Could be a really difficult game to win, but then again, they had a hard game against Hawthorn today and have to travel home from Tassie and then front up again in just 6 days, so that probably works in our favour. Would could also be in our favour is that this isn't a night game up there, so probably less chance of it being wet and slippery, which they would be more used to. We also smacked them up there early last year when they were close to full strength, so hopefully we'll have strong memories of that game, as it was a terrific win.

Templeton in for Wright if he doesn't come up.

Feel like this is a massive game for us. Need to exercise the travel demons and if we win we might start a bit of a roll!

Hoping Paddy can emulate Bruce from last year and have a real break out game and kick 5+.

IN DOUBT: Armitage, Wright.

IN THE MIX: Templeton, Murdoch, McKenzie, White?

Would be handy to have another tall defender, Keys doesn't have the mobility for Lynch. If Lee doesn't get a look in then we'll probably make do with Delaney close to goal, then Gilbert and Roberton to chase Lynch up the ground.

Newnes to run with GAJ.

Saints by a smallish margin.

I completely forgot about Murdoch. He had a blinder for Sandy.

Good conditions day game should hold us in good stead.
Peter Wright match up is a headache already with Lynch playing brilliantly Delaney will have to go to him.
Leaves Wright at 200 with someone a head shorter than him in Gilbert/Lee/Robbo, pressure the key to that one.
Our forwards though will create more manic than theres

J. Billings in for N. Wright (played his last game?) and we probably will need another defender to take two metre Peter so maybe Lee for Webster.

We must win this is a game. We are favourites and we cannot afford to drop a game like this we need to show consistency if we beat GC then we have Essendon so effectively we can win 4 in a row which is something we wouldn't have done for years.

Surely Nathan Wright has demonstrated an effectiveness to play the difficult role of defensive forward, and the ability to play through pain.

The only changes I would make would be if Wright or Armo (or any other player really) couldn't get up.

Out: Wright
In: Lonie
Like for like crumbing defensive small forward kamikaze. Lonie was 23rd man on Saturday night so he's obviously on the cusp in the coaches eyes. He hasn't played for 2 weeks, though.

Out: Armitage
In: Templeton
Tore the Carlton 2s to shreds. Acres and Weller to help fill Armo's hole in the centre.

Weller will be like a man possessed, he's been in the best form of his career and gets to shove it up the team that discarded him.
