Clear that our club and supporter base crave 'relevance' and being respected by others.

Believe we should be confident to develop our own footy department without resorting to perceived messiah in Lyon. Need to develop so we respect ourselves and not give a flying f..k what others think.

Do not think he is the answer, posters also think he would be aware of his weaknesses that may be the case does not mean he or anyone else will do anything about them.

If he is appointed there needs to be a clear succession plan - development of others in place.

I loved the feeling of going into games in 2009 confident we would win, I get it.

We should be strong enough to identify and action what is needed instead of appointing someone as we want to be relevant. There are other options.

Lenny Hayes is the key appointment here, no doubt about it. The guy bled red. black and white his whole career and Ross Lyon knows it.
He won the Norm Smith medal in the 2010 Grand Final FFS, and was the main target by Geelong in 2009.
I think any player next year who's not prepared to do the same, will be dropped to reserve grade or delisted.

If we drop everyone who isn’t a norm smith medal winner then we might have a bit of a problem

Lethers wife must have had a good divorce lawyer. His Mazda is about 15 years old, it's probably his bedroom and office as well. I hate wasting cash on cars but there is not caring what people think and what ever that thing is.
