Whilst i understand the sentiment the reality is one man leaving shouldnt be able to ruin a club.i don't want him back, he ruined the club when he left. oh my god, if he comes back, i don't know what i will do, as i dislike him and what he did to the club.
Thats on us. Plus as much as i didnt like it at the time, the passage of time has revealed we werent exactly squeaky clean on the exit too. We stuffed him around and someone else swooped. Its a cut throat business, look at what just happened to Ratts.
At a deep personal level i still have some reservations about if Ross is the same absolute boss he was in 2015ish BUT seeing the way the admin has gone through this review (thorough, detailed, ruthless, accepting of mistakes and keen to rectify them) i think you have to back them and ive not said that much about any Saints administration for many years now.
None of us have been on the phone calls, none of us has read the football department report, none of us was in the coke fuelled orgy contract signing yesterday so were all speculating BUT if Lethers, Bassat and co are convinced and we know that Ross' CV is the best available then im all in.
Feels like a new dawn and if Ross can leave the past behind then so can I.
