I have noticed that both on BF and SS that some lapsed posters are coming back on. I looks like Lyon is already instilling hope that we can be a real team again.

It would not at all surprise me to see Memberships spike next season.

It feels like something is moving finally. It feels like we've been in a 10 year coma and now we are wanting to get out on the beers and hit the clubs.

Pretty funny watching the interview as he was getting into his car. As much as he was trying he just couldn't keep the grin inside, like a teenage girl just asked about her new boyfriend.

Imagine if Lyon comes back, we have a huge pre-season, have a favourable fixture, and start racking up the wins from round 1.

Massive momentum and self belief. You just never know what can happen from there.

I think we are a good bet to play finals.

It took us 12 months to adjust to him when he arrived, Freo half a season and hopefully we can get adjust even quicker as players know what to expect from the start and he comes with some clout. He had Freo play finals in his first season still.

It was smart of Bassat and Lethers to act quickly. I think they both saw what would come next year. We’d be mid table again and ratts would be under enormous pressure

If I had a dollar for every time I’ve seen a saints fan on socials say ‘ If saints hire Lyon I’m cancelling my membership ‘ I’d be a rich man … I do think you are right as I think the support will outweigh the negative but saints fans on social media are irrationally mad about this

They are just loud at the moment. As soon as he gets in and starts work people will fire up. Even those losing interest are back looking even if it's a negative response. My old man liked Ratts and thinks that it's crazy chasing Lyon but he's very engaged again despite apparently wanting to burn Lethlean. Even my wife that isn't even slightly interested says she hates Lyon for walking out and doesn't want him, so she's actually noticed that we exist for the first time in ages. We were irrelevant for ages.

Winning overcomes everything. Lyon is a winner and he had us winning when he was with us.

Supporters are desperate for success and there appears to be hope. They will come flooding back to the club.
